From beginningless samsara, to us patrons and retinue, debts of food, wealth, and life, and those connected by debts, blood feuds, and relationships, all spirits, especially those who obstruct and harm fruits and crops, hail, hungry ghosts, etc., are offered. May debts and liabilities be cleared, and blood feuds and relationships be completely severed. May the hungry receive food, the poor receive wealth, and those frightened by fear receive protection and refuge. May desires be fully satisfied. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, like a treasury of space, may enjoyment be inexhaustible, without strife and without harm, may they be used freely. namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ. If it is important to accumulate a large number of times, place barley, beans, ransom objects, cloth, butter, salt, pieces of meat, hooks, etc. in two containers as offering substances. Sprinkle with clean water and perform the action of discarding and taking. I prostrate to the Tathagata Abundant Jewel. I prostrate to the Tathagata Supreme Beautiful Form. I prostrate to the Tathagata Whose Body is Gentle and Clear. I prostrate to the Tathagata Who is Completely Free from All Fears. namaḥ sarva tathāgata etc. This ransom torma, endowed with the five qualities of desirable objects, is offered and dedicated to the place of offering: To all those who obstruct the life, merit, and power of us patrons and retinue, and to the hail king, youthful glory, who harms and injures crops, land, and granaries, the spirits of heaven, earth, and the intermediate realm, family spirits, demons, Chinese ghosts, disease lords, nine brothers of spirits, hungry ghosts, poverty spirits, karmic debts, evil spirits, obstacles, and all kinds of elemental beings. I offer! I give! May karmic debts be extinguished! May debts be cleared! Separated from blood feuds, may we and our retinue be long-lived and free from illness, and may all harm to the six crops, such as hail, frost, drought, monks, laypeople, insects, etc., be pacified and averted. Please accomplish the activity! Play musical instruments and count the numbers. All phenomena arise from causes. The Tathagata has spoken of these causes. And whatever is the cessation of these causes, this the Great Ascetic has declared. Commit no evil, cultivate perfect virtue, and completely tame your mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Take your own body as an example, and do not harm others.

If you harm others, your own actions will ripen upon yourself. Because cause and effect are unfailing, in the past, holding harmful thoughts, you were born into the body of an evil demon. The suffering of hell is so terrible! Therefore, abandon the mind of harming others, and be endowed with a loving heart. Thus, through the power of this vast offering of Dharma and worldly things, may your wishes be fulfilled, and may there be no harm to the life, merit, power, and wealth of us patrons and retinue. On the fields of abundant crops, may hail, frost, blight, insects, drought, floods, monks, and laypeople, never occur. Abandon harmful thoughts and actions. Do not steal, plunder, or lurk for the wealth of fortune, prosperity, storehouses, and treasures. Be endowed with the mind of enlightenment. Alas! Milarepa, the young and glorious king, the beautiful young child with turquoise ears, wearing a silver pointed hat on his head, with fluttering bird feathers and silk tassels, clad in solid crystal armor, holding a summoning wind bag in his hand, with a small shield on his back, surrounded by three circles, riding a blue hare. The elder, middle, and younger brothers, and so on, surrounded by a retinue of nine Bserag brothers, may all be satisfied with this ransom. The spirits of heaven, earth, and the intermediate realm, all with naked human bodies, with the heads of birds, rabbits, and mice, holding swords and disease bags in their hands, be satisfied with this offering ransom. King spirits with monastic hats, red and black demonesses with hanging braids, Chinese demons, lords of disease, with foreign forms, Chinese clothes, holding disease bags in their hands, be satisfied with this offering and ransom. The nine brothers of the spirits of time, as well as the Bserag hungry ghosts and flesh-eating hordes, to all harmful demons and obstructors, I offer this vast offering ransom. May all be satiated and delighted. Release what is held, untie what is bound, loosen what is tied, lift what is pressed down, and do no harm in the future. Then turn your face outward, and perform the sending-off ritual: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ). I am the blood-drinking Heruka, the powerful wrathful lotus of subjugation. Listen, hordes of Bserag spirits, listen, oath-bound demons and bhūtas. There is no one who does not listen to the command of the Victorious Ones, no one who does not fear their precious life, no one who does not drink the water of existence, no one who does not listen to the words spoken, no one who does not eat the food of sustenance.
