Homage to the Master Padmasambhava! Here, if one wishes to perform an earth lord smoke offering, one should gather fragrant woods and other substances, burn incense, offer golden libations, the three whites and three sweets, the six excellences, as well as the essence of yogurt, the essence of alcohol, the essence of tea, various grains, fried flour, and so on as offerings. In the state of visualizing oneself as Guru Rinpoche, one should recite the following: KYEI! Oh! Since the formation of existence, the lords of the earth, the earth goddess Tseringma, the powerful earth lord Töpé, and all the deities who have dominion over the earth, especially the earth lords of this place, the earth lords, mountain lords, water lords, tree lords, rock lords, road lords, the sunny and shady sides of mountains, the front and back, the right and left, those dwelling on the mountains on either side, especially in this geomantic location, the earth lords, nagas, and nyen spirits dwelling here, and all who abide primordially, I offer this smoke offering. May the local deities, earth lords, nagas, and nyen spirits, in an instant, come here and be seated upon your respective desired seats. May the earth lords, deities, nagas, and nyen spirits be pleased. With what is actually available and what is emanated by the mind, various jewels, the three whites and three sweets as offerings, the six excellences, medicinal substances in harmony, golden libations, various silks, the essence of tea, the essence of alcohol, the essence of milk, fried flour, fragrant wood smoke, crystal tormas, a thousand white and a hundred black, a hundred horses, a thousand cows, a thousand calves and lambs, yaks, sheep, and goats in three forms, and all kinds of offering implements, blessed by the samadhi mantra, such a wondrous smoke offering as this, I offer, worship, purify, and propitiate to all the deities, nagas, and earth lords. May you all be pleased and satisfied! Listen to the words of the mantra holder, me. In your palaces and dwellings, due to ignorance on the part of myself, the patrons, and benefactors, if there has been any offense to the earth spirits, if there has been, I pacify it with peaceful means, I purify it with offerings of fried flour and the three whites. Hail And, being naked in a fierce place, making a "pat" sound on a wandering road, firelight rising at night, great humidity in a fierce place, fire blowing in the eye of the earth, the earth being fierce and houses collapsing. Fierce waterfalls are pushed over, local deities are offended, and for all fierce lands and fierce mountains, digging with hoes and erecting flags, fainting, epilepsy, and begging, cursing and offending the deities, if conflicts and quarrels occur, fumigate with various herbs, fumigate with silk and various medicines, fumigate with tea, wine, and fresh milk, fumigate with various good woods, fumigate with the pure mind of yogis, fumigate with the compassion of wisdom deities, by the blessings of mantras and mudras, if there is conflict, may it be pacified! May offenses, conflicts, and quarrels be pacified! If there is anger, may it be pacified! May all grudges be pacified! Great earth-owning Naga, to the earth-owning Naga residing here, with body respectfully prostrating, with speech supplicating, with mind confessing without deceit, offering food essence and precious offerings, offering compensation for land, stones, and trees, speaking meaningful words and truthful words, whatever actions are to be done in this place, do not say this land is my land, do not say this stone is my stone, do not say this tree is my tree, do not say this water is my water, even if offenses and conflicts occur, please be tolerant! Please abandon cruelty and evil thoughts, and possess a compassionate heart!
