Wishing to entrust wisdom through the gate of destruction and perform the ritual of the dharani, there are preliminaries, the main part, and the conclusion. First, in any place, make the mandala well. Adorn two vases with ornaments, neckbands, and dharani cords. Prepare the vase medicines and incense with gugul. Cleanse with the mantra of Om Amrite Hum Phat and the Svabhava mantra. Fill with a mixture of three whites, three sweets, and pure water. Arrange well and surround with as many offerings as possible. The torma can be based on three parts, or it can be based on one. Thus, after completing the seven qualities of the cause vase, visualize nectar swirling inside the action vase, with a green-blue body, one face, and two arms. The right hand holds a crossed vajra, the left hand holds a nectar vase, and the heart is marked with Hum surrounded by mantras. Recite Om Amrite Hum Phat as much as possible. First, take a bath. These are the preliminaries. The main part has four parts: the sequence of blessings, the instructions for the seven roots, the empowerment, and the bathing ritual. The first of the four is the self-blessing. Generate bodhicitta and recite the Svabhava mantra. From emptiness, in the heart of oneself, on top of the moon and sun, is Hum. From that, rays of light radiate, purifying one's aggregates. It becomes a white vajra marked with Hum. From that complete transformation, one becomes Vajra Destroyer, with a white body tinged with blue, one face, and two arms. The right hand holds a five-pronged vajra, the left hand holds a nectar vase at the heart. The body is adorned with snakes and jewels, and wears a tiger skin loincloth. Meditate that rays of light blaze forth from the body. On the moon above the crown of the head, visualize a white Om. On the lotus at the throat, visualize a red Ah. When these are completely transformed, visualize them as the mandala of the sixteen deities. In the center is the Bhagavan Vajravidāraṇa, whose body color is white with a tinge of blue, with one face and two arms. The right hand holds a five-pronged wisdom vajra, and the left hand holds a nectar vase at the heart, with the face of a wrathful deity protruding above it. Rays of light and a multitude of small wrathful deities radiate from his body. He has three eyes, an open mouth, and a rolled tongue. He is adorned with jewels and snakes, and wears a tiger skin loincloth. Meditate that in front of him is the consort Vajraśṛnkhalā, whose body color is white, with one face and two arms.
