In a secluded place, the teacher faces south, and in front of him, a square of uncut white cloth is laid out. On it is placed a triangular Dharmodaya mandala. Two-thirds of the mandala is white, and the remaining one-third is made of black beans, facing south. On the mandala in the center, a vase filled with milk and half-filled with fragrant water is placed. Inside the vase is a precious vessel containing gold dust and precious medicines like peacock bile. On the three corners of the mandala, a black Kulang brandishing an iron hook is erected on the southern corner; Shiva with matted hair, drawing a bow and arrow, is erected on the northwest corner; and the Great Lord Maheshvara, holding a trident (Tibetan: ཏྲི་ཤཱུ་ལ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्रिशूल, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: triśūla, literal Chinese meaning: three-pronged spear), is erected on the northeast corner. All three are erected as naked lingams (male genitalia) pointing upwards, vividly protruding. On the eastern side of the three boards of the Dharmodaya facing the vase, the right leg of a black sheep with a black belly is placed... the hip; on the northern side, the middle part; on the western side, something resembling the top. All three have the inner side of the meat facing upwards, with the cut surface facing outwards. To the right front of the teacher, on the western side, three round tormas are placed, along with pure water dyed with saffron and cinnabar as substances for empowerment. The fourth is an offering called the 'Dharmodaya Torma,' which gradually transforms from bottom to top into the shapes and colors of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful forms. The wrathful torma on top resembles the tip of a lightning bolt. All four tormas are decorated with white and red. Around them, offerings are arranged counterclockwise, and on the eastern side, a collection of various foods is piled up, manifesting an abundant scene. In the state of visualizing the guru as the Great Lord Maheshvara, holding the substance of the vase and the connecting thread in hand, recite the Lungtang rosary: Hasa Hasa, Kili Hasa, Shotri Phopeng, Tsina Tsada Hasa Hasa Hum (Tibetan: ཧ་ས་ཧ་ས༔ ཀི་ལི་ཧ་ས༔ ཤོ་ཏྲི་ཕོ་ཕེང༔ ཙི་ན་ཙ་ད་ཧ་ས་ཧ་ས་ཧཱུྃ༔). Recite it one hundred and eight times, visualizing the water in the vase transforming into nectar. Then, greedily desiring to devour the nectar, visualize: The father of the world, the Great Lord Maheshvara, shatters the vase with the trident made of wrathful water, desiring to obtain the nectar; similarly, the heretic Shiva with matted hair shoots an arrow at half of the vase, desiring to obtain the nectar; the heretic black Kulang pierces the vase with the iron horn, desiring to obtain the nectar. In such visualization, vow on that day: Do nothing other than prostrating three times to the guru. Then, the disciple offers the mandala, sits facing forward, and repeats these words.
