This general gathering of the Three Roots was born in the southern part of the great Tibetan Kathok. It is held by the lineage of the Omniscient Dharma Lord Padma Lodrö, and the great Vajradhara Kalsang Orgyen Tenzin, who protects the lion throne, has repeatedly urged it. Although many words have been added to the old general gathering, it has not been possible to offer it to the master, so in order to fulfill the wishes of the deceased master, and to make it easy to enter and carry out all the practice offerings and assembly circles, I have seen seven different kinds of general gatherings. This is based on the words of the Blood Drinker, the Demon Subduer, the Powerful Vajra.
