I, Padmasambhava, the Mara Subduer, in this northern land of the snowy mountains, to the sovereign Dharma King and his sons, from the vast and profound Supreme Vehicle, bestowed immeasurable instructions for both temporary and ultimate benefit. In particular, this is the secret practice profound activity manual of the Great Protector of the Teachings, Kunga Gyaltsen (ཀུན་དགའ་གཞོན་ནུ་, kunga gyaltsen), who embodies the heart's blood of all the protectors of the teachings, the essence of the Supreme Vehicle, the Heart Essence of the Emanated Body. It is revealed initially through the door of thirteen chapters. All the preliminary preparations should be done as in secret practice. Instantly recall and perfect yourself as Guru Padmasambhava, appearing as the form of the Noble Lion's Roar. His body is dark blue-black, with one face and two arms.
