Herein is a condensed essence for accomplishing him: As for the generation stage, the yoga of the deity: With refuge, bodhicitta, accumulation of merit, as preliminaries: Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ) Appearances and existence, without fixating on apprehension, in emptiness, The play of the all-ground, the great secret wisdom. From the dark blue Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, having completely transformed, An iron vajra with nine points, horns raised high, Its tips tormenting the hearts of the eight classes of spirits and demons, Its center empty, vast, and expansive, Inside and out, a maelstrom of blazing, raging fierce fire. One's self as Guhyapati Heruka, A dark blue color like rain clouds, valiant and wrathful, One face, two hands, in the manner of an enraged yaksha, The right hand's vajra crushing the heads of obstructing demons, The left hand's noose binding and leading the unruly, Adorned with charnel ground ornaments, two feet in a standing posture, Standing upon a lotus, sun, and arrogant seat. At the vajra's horn tips, red garudas display their power, Directly at the navel, the glorious, powerful Hayagriva, Red-black sandalwood staff and noose cast forth. At the horn tips, the karmic worker yaksha, black Kala, Hook and noose wielding, emanations swirling like the wind. All are fierce, wrathful, their splendor unbearable. Above, below, and in between, the hosts of the eight classes of spirits, Seizing the life force of all, the great general glory of samsara and nirvana. Appearance Emptiness, inseparable, like a water moon and rainbow, Unmixed, complete, clearly visible as a body of light on the path. In mudra, single-pointed, mind held, pride firm, Remembering purity, purifying whatever appears as the deity's form. Samaya! If you wish to elaborate, the essence of the stages of activity: Hūṃ!
