Negative karma and defilements will be purified immediately, and renunciation and sorrow from remembering death from the heart, and faith in the sacred Dharma will arise forcefully. Furthermore, just by wearing this pill on the body, one will not be affected by epidemics, will not be harmed by poison and weapons, will avert the harm of three hundred and sixty types of diseases, and all obstacles will naturally be pacified. Furthermore, if this pill is on the top of a great mountain, it will benefit beings for three hundred and sixty yojanas. Furthermore, if this pill is mixed with water and scattered in the fields, all types of crop diseases will be completely eradicated, and it will protect from the harm of hail and frost. In the past, all those who were careless and did not remember the sacred Dharma, just by putting this pill in their mouth, the root knot of afflictions will be untied, and thereafter they will be accompanied by the sacred Dharma. Such are the qualities of the noble Avalokiteśvara, such is the compassionate activity, everyone should strive. Be diligent in this practice and offering, there is no more supreme activity for the benefit of beings than this, only call upon this, only be diligent in this, only strive in this, only be swift in this. When swallowing the pill, visualize the body of the noble Avalokiteśvara with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes, becoming as small as a mustard seed, entering your stomach, and the defilements of body, speech, and mind are purified, meditate as if light is merging with light, recite the Mani as much as possible, and finally relax in the state of non-duality. The very peak, the ultimate of all generation stage practices, the condensed essence of all completion stage practices, the essential point of all practices. The footprints of all past Buddhas, the great path of all future Buddhas, the infallible main path of all present Bodhisattvas. The unique samaya of the emanation king Songtsen Gampo, the yidam inseparable from me, Padma. In the future, it will open the door to all benefit of beings, the hope of all to be tamed, surpassing others in excellence. If this image is made on cloth or paper, on the side of a wall, or on earth, stone, or wood, or on gold, silver, copper, etc., then just seeing it will purify the sins and obscurations of eons. Whoever offers prostrations and offerings will quickly complete the accumulations and purify the obscurations. Just hearing the name once will not fall into the lower realms but will be born in Sukhavati. Just remembering it will dispel the confusion of this life and special experiences of pure vision will arise like a reflection of the moon in water. If these six syllables are written on gold, copper, or even stone and placed at the crossroads of a path, then whoever comes into contact with them will not turn back and will reach the end of samsara. If thrown into water, all the creatures in the water will attain unsurpassed enlightenment. If these six syllables are turned in the wind, they will benefit many humans and non-humans for a distance of a league. If a stupa is built, all directions will be auspicious, blessings will increase, and abundant harvests will occur. If you visualize yourself as the deity and dedicate the wisdom nectar flowing from all your hands, then all the beings wandering in the sky will be satisfied. If you generate the wisdom fire god and make offerings, you will burn away the karmic obscurations of lifetimes, and immediately your wisdom will be clear, you will not be harmed by spirits, and your food, wealth, and possessions will increase like a blazing fire. If the ashes of the fire offering are carried into the course of a great river, then the lineage of disciples will flourish for a long time. If you enjoy food and drink without separating from the yoga of the longevity deity, then in all lifetimes, enjoyment in accordance with the Dharma will be effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished. By generating the perception of deities in all friends, hatred will be eliminated.
