English
And be born there. Such a Buddha-field, a land well adorned with such qualities, may I also be born in that supreme land. Having been born, may I see the face of Amitabha, and with boundless deeds, may all the grounds and paths be perfectly fulfilled, and may I become enlightened in the form of Amitayus. In that world, Sukhavati, the sound of heavenly music constantly arises. The great earth is like the color of gold, delightful and pleasing. Three times during the day and three times during the night, a rain of flowers falls. Those beings born in that Buddha-field, like the morning, go to the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, pay homage to hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, and offer hundreds of thousands of millions of bouquets of flowers to each of the Tathagatas, and then return to their respective seats and abide in samadhi. In that realm, geese, cranes, and peacocks gather three times during the day and three times during the night and sing songs, and in their respective voices, the sounds of the faculties (དབང་པོ།，梵文天城体：इन्द्रिय，梵文罗马拟音：indriya，汉语字面意思：根), the powers (སྟོབས།，梵文天城体：बल，梵文罗马拟音：bala，汉语字面意思：力), and the limbs of enlightenment arise. Whatever beings are born there, having heard that sound, will generate mindfulness of the Buddha (སངས་རྒྱས་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པ།，梵文天城体：Buddha-manasikara，梵文罗马拟音：Buddha-manasikara，汉语字面意思：佛作意), mindfulness of the Dharma (ཆོས་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པ།，梵文天城体：Dharma-manasikara，梵文罗马拟音：Dharma-manasikara，汉语字面意思：法作意), and mindfulness of the Sangha (དགེ་འདུན་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པ།，梵文天城体：Sangha-manasikara，梵文罗马拟音：Sangha-manasikara，汉语字面意思：僧作意). Those beings are not born in the realm of animals, for in that land there is no name for the realm of animals or the realm of Yama, and those flocks of birds are all emanations of the Tathagata Amitayus for the sake of producing the sound of the Dharma. May I also be born in that supreme land. Having been born, may I see the face of Amitabha, and with boundless deeds, may all the grounds and paths be perfectly fulfilled, and may I become enlightened in the form of Amitayus. In that Buddha-field, when the garlands of tala trees and the nets of tinkling bells are moved and struck by the wind, a pleasant, agreeable, and delightful sound arises, and when people there hear that sound, mindfulness of the Buddha, mindfulness of the Dharma, and mindfulness of the Sangha abide in their bodies. Those beings born in that Buddha-field are all non-returning Bodhisattvas bound by one lifetime. Such are the qualities.

The blissful Sukhavati is a supreme pure land, may I also be born in that supreme pure land; having been born, may I see the face of Amitabha, and with boundless deeds, perfectly complete all the bhumis and paths, and attain Buddhahood in the form of Amitayus. Thus, I also recited the aspiration prayer that came from the stages of the path to enlightenment. This has inconceivable benefits. From the Sutra on the Description of the Merits of Sukhavati: Shariputra, any son or daughter of good family who hears the name of that Bhagavan Tathagata Amitayus, and having heard it, keeps it in mind, for one night, or two nights, or three nights, or four nights, or five nights, or six nights, or seven nights, with an undistracted mind, that son or daughter of good family, at the time of death, having made the time of death with an undeluded mind, at the time of death, that Tathagata Amitabha, surrounded by the Sangha of Shravakas, and with the assembly of Bodhisattvas welcoming him, that Bhagavan Tathagata Amitabha's Buddha-field, the world-realm of Sukhavati, that person will be born there. Thus it is said. Again, in that same text, it says: Shariputra, therefore, having seen the power of this meaning, a son or daughter of good family should respectfully make aspirations in that Buddha-field.
