The Second Chapter: Teaching on the Essence of the Supreme Speech of Padma. Listen, Secret Lord Vajradhara! The alaya-consciousness, devoid of memory, The four gates become ignorance. Mind also arises from ignorance, Discrimination is a branch of mind. If you wish to receive the true intention, The movement of mind is like a mist. Neither suppress nor follow, leave it in its own place. In that way, grasping and clinging thoughts are cleared, Awareness is self-arising, clear and bright. Blend the nature of memory and awareness and leave it. Thereupon, self-arising wisdom arises, It is the intention of the true mind. Thus it was said. The Third Chapter: Teaching on the Essence of the True Mind. Listen, Secret Lord Vajradhara! From ignorance comes discrimination, From that arise the five poisons of affliction. Sentient beings fall into the ocean of the five poisons. Release thoughts in their own place and leave them. At that time, afflictions are not purified, The five poisons are not abandoned, but rise in their own place. The wisdom of self-arising awareness arises. Thereupon, the five wisdoms arise, The ocean of the five poisons turns into nectar. Attain the accomplishment of immortality, Nectar virtue is intention. Thus it was said. The Fourth Chapter: Teaching on the Essence of Nectar Virtue. Listen, Secret Lord Vajradhara! The ego, the increase of grasping and clinging, Is the enemy and obstacle of the Dharmakaya of the Buddha. Self-arising awareness is recognition. Enemies and obstacles come upon you, Awareness and wisdom increase, Enemies and obstacles are slain by the phurba. At that time, thoughts are scattered like ashes, The root of ego grasping and clinging is purified, The activity of the phurba is intention. Thus it was said. The Fifth Chapter: Teaching on the Essence of the Activity of the Phurba. Listen, Secret Lord Vajradhara! The alaya-consciousness, uncertain of anything, At the time of recognition is awareness. That is the essence of the alaya-consciousness, The wisdom of omniscience arises. Awareness is uncorrected and undistracted, Clear and bright in its own place, It is the space of the Dharmakaya, the unborn mother. From that arises unobstructed wisdom, It is the intention of the casting Mamo. Thus it was said. The Sixth Chapter: Teaching on the Essence of the Passionate Path of the Mamo. Listen, Secret Lord Vajradhara! The alaya-consciousness is the source of all, It is self-arising, but not wisdom. Discrimination, the five poisons, do not move, Remaining undistracted, It is awareness holding to the Dharmadhatu. Accidental appearances are sudden and various, Born like a mist, they clear like a mist. Self-arising, unmoving, Gradually becomes stable.

And the blessings are obtained, not necessarily all at once, afflictive thoughts will be purified. By restraining these three aspects, awareness grows into the five wisdoms. When awareness matures, the fruit is obtained, and one gains control over the life of no birth and death. The realization is the great mudra, and the arising of wisdom is the great perfection, this is the intention of the vidyadhara guru. Thus it is said. The seventh chapter, which reveals the heart essence of the vidyadhara guru. Listen, secret lord Vajradhara! That which clings to "I" and "mine" arises from the ignorance of complete imputation. The power of its imprints increases, leading to enemies and friends, the benefit and harm of gods and demons, and all appearances becoming dualistic as "I" and "mine." Because the mind has no object to cling to, if the un fabricated self-awareness without clinging is not modified, conceptual thoughts are self-liberated and illusions are destroyed. At that time, one can be liberated from samsara, and the eight classes of gods and demons become servants. Realizing selflessness liberates one from samsara, and worldly offerings and praises are its intention. Thus it is said. The eighth chapter, which reveals the heart essence of worldly pride. Listen, secret lord Vajradhara! The certainty of the three realms of samsara is that the root conceptual thoughts make one arrogant. Doubt and dualistic clinging arise, leading to confusion, and self-grasping arises, leading to self-slaughter, the cycle of birth and death never ceases. Samsara is rootless and sudden, and knowing that it is rootless is the first awareness of knowledge. After recognizing it, abiding in its own state is the great self-arisen awareness. Abiding in this way is meditation, and the five poisons of affliction naturally subside. Self-slaughter, self-bondage, and self-liberation, the five poisons transform into the arising of wisdom. Curses and fierce mantras are its intention. Thus it is said. The ninth chapter, which reveals the heart essence of fierce mantras and curses. Listen, secret lord Vajradhara! The intention of the all-encompassing buddhas is that the alaya is not regarded as the result, the ground is self-arisen and immovable. Not being grasped by mindfulness is true ignorance. When awareness is self-clear and bright, establishing the ground of correct mindfulness, it is clear, open, and bright. Like the ocean separating from the waves, it is clear, pure, and radiant. Like the stars appearing in the sky, abiding in this way is the dharmadhatu, which is the intention of vast expanse. It is called the unborn dharmadhatu, at that time the root of afflictions is severed. Even if sudden conceptual thoughts arise, the rootless awareness cuts off samsara. That is also the unchanging intention, it is non-thought, but not wisdom. Like the sky.
