Essence Commentary on the Fierce Wrathful Guru Heart Practice: A Jewel of Profound Meaning. Padma Trinley. Essence Commentary on the Fierce Wrathful Guru Heart Practice: A Jewel of Profound Meaning. Padma Trinley. Essence Commentary on the Fierce Wrathful Guru Heart Practice: A Jewel of Profound Meaning. Herein lies the text. Guru Padma Siddhi Hung! (藏文:གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:गुरु पद्म सिद्धि हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:guru padma siddhi hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Guru Lotus Accomplishment Hung!) For the practice of the Northern Treasure Fierce Wrathful Guru Heart Practice, although there is no difference from the terma text "Secret Precious Collection" and its practice instructions composed by Chögyal Wangpo's group, I will write it as an essence commentary. On the tenth day of any month, begin by reciting the text of the heart practice with offerings, tormas, and a feast gathering. Complete the practice by making offerings to the treasure protectors, gathering the feast, receiving siddhis, and dissolving the mandala. The heart practice is for enjoying the mind; you do not need to arrange practice substances, offerings, or tormas; you do not need to invite, praise, or urge; practice the three mandalas. As it is said, these are the mandala of the body deity, the mandala of the fierce mantra, and the mandala of the mind's nature. You do not need any external mandala supports or anything else. However, it is said, "In front, the form of Padma, my body, please reside with blessings." This is merely a support for devotion for making prostrations and prayers. Place a representation of Guru, either peaceful or wrathful, in whatever form is available, along with offerings. From the evening session of the tenth day, without any preliminary practices such as refuge and bodhicitta, clarify the mandala of the body deity by raising awareness as the deity's form, like a spear being thrown. By saying "Hung Hung," instantly remember and perfect yourself as the Maha Guru Padmasambhava, Vajra Drakpo Tsal, from "named" to "becoming the master who subdues the three realms." Recite this verbally. The mandala of the fierce mantra is: during the evening session, say "Hung Hung," cutting the "Hung" in two and reciting it fiercely. As it is said in the root text, "Secret Precious Collection": "At the time of evening, the vajra rakshasa, with the fierce sound of Hung, subdues gods and demons." The mandala of the mind's nature is: in the root text, "On the tongue, the Hung syllable is like a string of pearls, descending through the path of bodhicitta in the throat."

Pas. Visualize that all the flesh, blood, bones, and all internal things of the body melt and flow out from the lower gate. Visualize the skin as clear inside and out, like the shape of a crystal vase. Then, visualize that the entire inside of the body is filled with Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), like a granary filled with grain, visualize it filled from the throat down, and recite for seven days. As it is said, on the tongue, visualize a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) with the head and tail connected, one's foot facing the other's head, like pearls strung on a thread, descending from the throat and filling the inside of the body. All tangible things inside the body, such as flesh and blood, melt, and diseases, evil spirits, and sins are expelled from the lower gate. Visualize the skin of the body as clear inside and out, like a blue crystal vase, filled with blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) from the throat down, and recite in the state of abiding nature. Some people misunderstand this example of pearls strung on a thread and practice visualizing a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). However, the meaning of "Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) arranged vertically like pearls strung on a thread" does not refer to the color of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), so it is only the blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). When it is appropriate to end a session, and when it is permissible to end offerings and praises, relax the body and mind in the state of non-referential Great Perfection without any fabrication, because the root text says, "During rest, abide in the rootless state." Then, lie down in the lion posture with the right side down. Focus on a dark blue, very bright Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) in the center of the heart, without letting other thoughts interrupt. Because the root text says, "When falling asleep, focus awareness on Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). Meditate on one Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) in the center of the heart. Accomplish by counting the pulse of wind and awareness. Twenty-one thousand days is the key to one practice." Therefore, immediately after waking up at dawn, clearly visualize oneself as Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) and the three mandalas as before, and recite Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं हुं हुं हुं हुं हुं हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽吽吽吽吽吽吽) seven times. Because the text says, "At dawn, with the song of light of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), subdue all mothers and dakinis." The way to end a session at dawn is also the same as before. In the meantime, do not have any other clinging thoughts.
