Please grant us the instructions on how to put into practice the supplication 'Spontaneous Fulfillment of Wishes' that you spoke of earlier! Upon this request, he bestowed the following words: No matter to whom you pray, it is crucial to remember the qualities of the Three Jewels. Among them, remembering the lama is especially important. Although the yoga of the lama is taught in outer, inner, and secret forms, in times of suffering for future generations of disciples, merely remembering my qualities will save them from suffering. Therefore, begin on an auspicious day and date, and continuously engage in the practice of the lama in sessions. I am the embodiment of the blessings and wisdom of all the Buddhas of the three times, enthroned as the regent of empowerment, working for the benefit of beings. This outer practice of mine, the source of all qualities, is the means to protect beings from the eight fears, to liberate them from the harms of disease, weapons, and famine, the treasury of all siddhis, and has been taught as the source of all qualities. You, the king and those who lead, should carefully paint my image, the source of precious qualities, and in front of it, offer the three waters as preliminary offerings, the excellent feast offering, a torma of piled lotuses adorned with silk, and sound drums, cymbals, bells, and kettle drums. Burn excellent incense, face the southwest direction, and surrounded by a gathering of young boys and girls, with one-pointed minds, pray to Orgyen me with devotion and tears flowing. SYA. MYA. YYA.
