Then recite: Invoke the heart essence of the Three Roots, the vast array of victorious ones. Gather and dissolve all their blessings and accomplishments, contemplating that you have become the embodiment of the complete essence of all blessings and accomplishments. Recite as much as possible: OM AH HUNG After completing the offering of torma to the treasure protectors and the tsok offering, enter into self-generation or receive the empowerment of samadhi. For the actual empowerment: Bathe the disciples. Throw the obstacle-removing torma to expel and create boundaries. Clarify the generation of bodhicitta. Here, the root of all swift paths to maturation and liberation in Secret Mantra Vajrayana, the source of all blessings and accomplishments, the supreme Vajradhara, the lord of the mandala ocean, among the many methods of approaching and practicing the glorious and holy lama, the one without equal is the profound heart practice of the great teacher of Oddiyana, Guru Padmasambhava. As the Vajra words of the master himself state: The Buddhas of the three times and their retinues, Out of compassion for the benefit of beings, Manifested bodies for the benefit of sentient beings, Although there are countless methods of the guru practice, All the Buddhas of the three times, Gave empowerment, permission, and made requests, In the degenerate times of the future, To benefit beings, give permission, With the power of my aspiration, Relying on me, explain the guru practice. Thus, the victorious ones of the ten directions and their retinues requested to act for the benefit of beings, and bestowed empowerment and permission. They especially urged and praised the taming of the difficult to tame in the degenerate age. Not only does he possess the great power of the aspiration and prayer that is superior to other Buddhas, but all the Buddhas of the three times are also none other than the manifestations of the Guru himself. As it is said: I am the actual embodiment of all the victorious ones, The Buddhas of the past are my fathers, The Buddhas of the future are my sons, The Buddhas of the present are my brothers, Since I am the Buddhas of the three times, Pray without doubt. With these true and infallible words, he made a vow, and in the land of Tibet, he is definitely superior to all the Buddhas.

Among all the extensive and concise sadhanas of the venerable Guru Rinpoche, this one is particularly outstanding. It is the Lama Sadhana called "Lamp of Blessings," bestowed upon the Nub disciple Namkhai Nyingpo as his heart practice. From the Dharma collection of Kunzang's Mind Treasure "Self-Liberation of Samsara and Nirvana," unearthed by its mind emanation, Jangchub Lingpa Pal Gyaltsen, it is the profound empowerment of the meaning of blessings, which arises as the first of the six Inner Treasure Ra-skor Lamps. As an introduction to the practice, offer a mandala. Recite this prayer. Victors and their heirs, oath-bound protectors, Body, Speech, and Mind, equal and non-dual, Supreme Accomplishment. Bestow upon me now the glory of accomplishing whatever is desired: long life, Dharma, and various wonders, like a good vase, a wish-fulfilling jewel. Repeat three times. In order to purify the stream of being, visualize the teacher as inseparable from oneself, the embodiment of all Buddhas, the Maha Guru, surrounded by the Three Roots, the Buddhas and their heirs, dwelling visibly before you. Confess sins and rejoice in virtues in their presence. Beseech them not to pass into nirvana, but to remain and turn the wheel of Dharma. Take refuge and generate the supreme bodhichitta, vowing to uphold all vows and precepts. With this in mind, repeat after me. Gurus, yidams, and hosts of deities, Heroes and dakinis, all be mindful! With myself as leader, all beings, Whatever sins and misdeeds we have done, With shame and regret, we confess each one. In the future, we will restrain ourselves. All the Buddhas and their heirs, The vast root of virtue, We especially rejoice and celebrate. With compassion that does not pass into sorrow, May you remain steadfast, working for the benefit of sentient beings! In the ten directions and four times, Turn the wheel of the Great Vehicle's Dharma! To the gurus, Buddhas, and their heirs, Until enlightenment, I take refuge. Past, future, and present, All the Buddhas and their heirs, Whatever training there is, I will train; Whatever is to be abandoned, I will abandon. The supreme and precious bodhichitta, I will firmly generate. The vows of Body, Speech, and Mind, And the outer, inner, and secret precepts, I vow to firmly uphold. Repeat three times. Establishing the basis for empowerment. Inviting the wisdom being, therefore the body and speech of...
