The profound path of practicing the inseparability of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava and the Root Guru, composed by Tsarchen Choskyi Gyalpo. Maitri Karma Guna. The profound path of practicing the inseparability of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava and the Root Guru, composed by Tsarchen Choskyi Gyalpo. Maitri Karma Guna. The profound path of practicing the inseparability of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava and the Root Guru, composed by Tsarchen Choskyi Gyalpo. Here begins the text. Namo Guru Padmakaraya. Here, desiring to practice the profound path of the inseparability of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava and the Root Guru, one should sit on a comfortable seat in the posture of meditation. Namo. Lama, the embodiment of all Sugatas. The essence of the Three Jewels. I and all sentient beings of the six realms. Take refuge until enlightenment. Generating the mind for the benefit of all beings. Having accomplished the Lama Buddha. Through the activity of taming whatever needs to be tamed. I vow to liberate all beings. Recite this three times, taking refuge and generating the mind. Visualize the place where you are as a great pure realm, and in front of you, in the center of a vast, clear, blue, and immaculate wish-fulfilling ocean. Adorned with various lotus stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, in the center of the various lotuses is a cool, white, full moon disc. Upon it is the Great Teacher Padmasambhava, the Acharya, inseparable from your kind and precious Root Guru, a youth of sixteen years. His body is white with a reddish glow, with one face and two arms. His eyes, peaceful and wrathful, smiling and pleasing, swirl like the sun and moon. From his mouth emanates the sound of profound secret mantras. His right hand holds a golden five-pronged vajra in the gesture of granting refuge at his heart. His left hand rests in the gesture of equipoise, holding a skull cup filled with immortal nectar. In the crook of his left arm is a khatvanga. His hair is black and oily, hanging in long locks. On his head he wears a deer skin hat. Upon it is a vulture feather crest. Adorned with a silver mirror, golden sun and moon, and a vajra crest. He is adorned with a five-colored silk robe. On his body he wears a blue vajra secret garment.

Offer a silk scarf. On top of that, wear a red monastic robe with gold patra patterns. Therefore, put on a mottled purplish-brown cloak that subdues the three realms. Sit in the vajra posture. Surrounded by the lineage of vidyadharas, the deities of the great accomplishment Kagyé, heroes, dakinis, and the assembly of oath-bound protectors, residing like dense clouds. Rain down flowers and play musical sounds. All appearances and existences shine with brilliance. Contemplate merging into rainbows and light. On the crown of that lama is a white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om). At the throat is a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah). At the heart is a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). From that Hum, rays of light emanate, illuminating the palace of the dakinis of Oddiyana in the west. And the summit of Mount Ngayab Palri, the supreme place of vidyadhara accomplishment. From the infinite realms of the ten directions, the great teacher and retinue come like a blizzard, reciting Ja Hum Bam Hoh (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं वं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ja Hum Bam Hoh), merging into the deity in front. They look at me with joyful eyes. They care for me with loving compassion. From smiling faces, they say, "Son and daughter of the lineage, I will liberate you from the great ocean of suffering in samsara. I will place you in the state of liberation and omniscience. I will be your refuge in this life, the next life, and the bardo. I will grant you all supreme and common accomplishments." Thinking so clearly, offer your body and possessions without hesitation. From the depths of your heart, a strong feeling of devotion arises, entrusting your body, speech, and mind, and the four points of crown, heart, throat, and navel, not just with words, but praying like this: Emaho! In the western realm of Sukhavati, Amitabha is the dharmakaya of great bliss. On the summit of Mount Potala in the south, Avalokiteshvara is the sambhogakaya of great compassion. In the palace of Mount Ngayab Palri in Oddiyana, Padmasambhava is the nirmanakaya of accomplished mastery. Now in the snowy land of Tibet, the incomparable kindness is the kind Dharma Lord. Guru Rinpoche, inseparable from the three kayas, I pray to you, please bless my being. All sentient beings equal to space, and the miserable beings of Tibet in the degenerate age, especially me and those connected to me, please with the eyes of great love and compassion
