From... rays of light like rainbows, and the assembly of swift goddesses dancing like dust motes in the sunlight, attracting the life essence of existence and peace. In the left hand, concealing the form of Yum Mandarava, holding a khatvanga. On the body, inside, a white vajra secret garment. A blue robe. Red and yellow monastic robes. A brocade cloak of power color, worn in layers. On the head, a magnificent She'u style headdress. With the two feet in the posture of a king at play, in the realm where appearance and existence, rainbow rays, and clear bindus intermingle, appearing as a body of wisdom illusion, in the heart, in the center of a fully blossomed lotus sun, is the Yidam, the complete union, the powerful Hayagriva, embraced by the Dakini, the complete union Vajravarahi. On the lotus moon above that heart, is the wisdom hero, the noble Avalokiteshvara, and on the crown of the head, the lord of the family, the protector Amitabha. Furthermore, above are the root and lineage lamas, in the middle are the Yidams, peaceful and wrathful deities, and around are the dakinis and dharma protectors, residing like dense clouds. In order to purify the stream of being and to invoke the splendor of the wisdom deities, with intense devotion and longing, regarding the teacher as the actual embodiment of the subduer of appearance and existence, the Skull Garland Power, based on this, from the heart of the teacher, rays of light like iron hooks emanate, involuntarily stirring the mind-streams of the Three Roots, the Buddhas of the myriad realms. From the three places of those deities, blessings and siddhis of body, speech, and mind, in the form of body mudras, speech syllables, and mind symbols, come forth like a blizzard, gently dissolving into you, generating faith that the stream of being is blessed. Blessings descend through the wisdom beings. Hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ, gather the blessings with this. Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, merge them indivisibly. Generate the conviction that the wisdom beings are stabilized. Recite "Tiṣṭha Vajra (藏文：ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་，梵文天城体：तिष्ठ वज्र，梵文罗马拟音：tiṣṭha vajra，汉语字面意思：安住金刚)" and place the crossed vajra on the crown of the head. Having thus preceded the descent and stabilization of wisdom, for the actual empowerment, first, in order to summon life and gather essence, visualize the guru as the Skull Garland Power who subdues existence and peace, from the skull-cup in his left hand emanate five-colored rays of light, and the emanation of the Swift Goddess, like particles of sunlight, spreads forth, so that your vitality and life force that have declined are restored, the essence of the four elements, the essence and all the auspiciousness of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, are invited as the nectar of immortal life, in the form of various colors of light. They enter from the crown of your heads. Filling the entire body, you obtain the accomplishment of immortal life. By dissolving into the life substances in front, generate the conviction that it becomes the elixir of vajra life. Saying this, wave the arrow banner. Hrīḥ! From the palace of the clear light dharmakāya, the saṃbhogakāya with complete enjoyment, the immortal Padmākara Skull Garland Power, together with the retinue of the ocean of the three roots, in order to bestow the supreme life empowerment for accomplishment, awaken your commitment and arise from the expanse. For us yogis and our retinue, may the vitality and life force that have declined be restored, the essence of the outer vessel of the four elements, the inner essence of the life and splendor of beings, the secret qualities of the knowledge, love, and power of the buddhas and bodhisattvas, are gathered in the form of rays of nectar, and dissolve into me and the substances of accomplishment. Bestow the accomplishment of ageless youth, bestow the accomplishment of freedom from illness and happiness, bestow the accomplishment of immortal life, bestow the accomplishment of supreme wisdom.
