it will become like that. Because I, the lama, have a firm resolve, this is the only white dharma. This is the corresponding dharma. There is no better dharma than this. There is nothing to abandon, nothing to cut off. There is no antidote to meditate on. The yogi is a cage of the body. Therefore, by combining with the two and being firm in him, the certainty will greatly increase. If it is a medium faculty, because there is a danger of external demons entering, one will think, "It is enough for me to recite these," and think that a lama is not needed, and because of the reversed devotion, one does not care about cause and effect. Compassion and faith also become smaller and smaller, and there is also a danger of becoming black and scattered. If it goes on like that, realization will not increase. Transformation will also increase. We ourselves will also fall into sin. Because there is a danger of being caught by the iron hook of the demon, one should respect the words of the holy lama as medicine. The lowest of non-elaboration is just knowing one's own mind, and knowing that conceptualization has not been completed. Know that the experience has not been completed within. Even if one has a slight understanding of one's own mind. Even if one looks at the profound and vast dharma, one does not understand. Even if one knows one's own mind, one does not know the ultimate of meditation. It is like a small child seeing the moon. At this time, there is no way to leave the lama. In order to increase, one must abandon the three attachments. One should not have dependence on one's own body, enjoyment, and relatives. One should repeatedly generate special certainty in the holy lama, the precious instructions, and one's own realization. Keep silent or stay in a secluded place. Pray intensely, and after doing that, one will increase in an instant. Non-elaboration itself also has three aspects: sudden enlightenment, direct cutting, and gradual enlightenment. Sudden enlightenment is the appearance of the ultimate of non-elaboration from the very beginning. Direct cutting is sometimes high and sometimes low. Gradual enlightenment is gradual appearance. In the excellent time of many tastes as one, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are realized as equality. Appearance and mind are determined as one, and understood as the truth of the ultimate truth. There will also be supernatural powers and so on. There will also be the appearance of one's own yidam. Or there will be a prophecy in the ripening path. Jealousy is fundamentally pacified. In the middle one taste period, appearance and mind are determined as one. There will also be the experience of the body, mind, and appearance being integrated into one. Appearance itself is also like this, all the flowers, plants, and trees appear here, but they all return to one taste. Similarly,

Like a great ocean merging into a single taste, it dissolves into the sole state of mind itself. Towards sentient beings outside, one might view those with devotion as beneficial and those without as harmful. One might also think there is no meditation superior to this. At that time, there is a risk of the demon arising that sees all beings and the lama as equal, without the need to generate compassion. One might also think that devotion to the lama is not separate, but resides within one's own mind. Considering this, the precious lama also said, "This selfless compassion without attachment, grasp it firmly with skillful means." And, "Even if you realize your own mind as Buddha, do not abandon the Vajra Master." This also involves generating devotion to the lama, generating compassion for sentient beings, residing in solitude, abandoning the memory of past and future events, paying attention to appearances, sometimes residing in the sangha, sometimes residing in solitude, intensely focusing on external objects (mountains or land), and sometimes residing within, also observing one's own mind, and also observing the observer himself. If done in this way, like snow falling on a lake, or a forest fire burning, or the five poisons being transformed into medicine, or the waves of a great ocean calming down, rapid progress is effortless. The final single taste is the non-separation of one's own body, mind, and appearances. Sometimes the thought of abiding in the mind arises, and sometimes there is no certainty about making it non-separate. Sometimes solid things like earth also appear, one cannot abandon jealousy, one does not fear the law of karma, and sometimes one thinks there is no difference between previous knowledge and one's own knowledge. One cannot hide when doing Dharma practice. Sometimes, just by looking at the sky, one experiences the feeling that this is the ultimate. To enhance it, especially, one also focuses appearances outward (towards mountains, etc.) and meditates again and again. In general, one also meditates on the blending of the three realms (above, below, and in between). Meditate on Mahayana yoga, especially with devotion to the lama, and do all kinds of accumulation practices. Now (with mindfulness) hold onto mindfulness itself. Rapid progress is effortless. There are four situations where there is no meditation: the best is when equanimity and subsequent attainment arise without effort, unmeditation where there is no need to meditate. When knowledge is cut off from its root through meditation, the meditator himself is not established, and the meditation is not established. Because one understands being separated from what is to be meditated upon and the one who meditates, it is also non-existent. The clear light of meditation and the clear light of death.
