Without the eye of the perfection of wisdom, one cannot proceed to the state of omniscience. Therefore, here, \"the other shore\" is the ultimate destination to be reached, the state of omniscience. Here, since it causes one to reach that other shore, what is called \"perfection\" is non-conceptual wisdom. Since this is the nature of perfection, what is called \"perfection\" is the wisdom of omniscience itself. Among them, the other five, such as generosity, when grasped by the perfection of wisdom, obtain the name of perfection, because the generosity and so on that are completely grasped by it become the cause of omniscience. Therefore, those are similar to perfection and are called perfections. What is the nature of that perfection of wisdom? It is non-conceptual wisdom. By what measure is it called non-conceptual? When the mind of the yogi is separated from all the characteristics of proliferation and becomes the nature of suchness, at that time it is called non-conceptual. As it is said in the *Bodhicaryāvatāra*: \"When knower and known, Do not abide before the mind, At that time, without another aspect, It is utterly pacified without an object.\" As it is explained. If that non-conceptual wisdom is knowledge or not knowledge? If it is the former, since knowledge is well distinguished by the discernment of objects, the proliferation of object and object-possessor should not be pacified. If it is the latter, how can it be proper for it to realize suchness? Because of the fault as previously stated, the first alternative is not desired. Even so, there is no fault of not realizing suchness, because the very non-realization of anything by correct wisdom is termed the realization of suchness. If so, then sleep and fainting, etc., would also become the realization of suchness? Merely stopping conceptual thought is non-conceptual. Is that what is said? By what, then, would sleep and so on also become non-conceptual? If not, then what is it? The yogi first, with the wisdom of individual discrimination, [understands] the phenomena" } ] ============================================================

They analyze the nature of all phenomena. When analyzing, even a particle of inherent existence cannot be found in any dharma. After that, the yogi places their mind on such a nature of reality. When placed, how does the yogi's mind transform into the nature of such a reality and know it? No characteristics such as knowable objects are perceived. When arising from that, one thinks, "All dharmas are like the center of the sky, and all characteristics of elaboration are pacified!" Thus, the correct view that completely cuts off (afflictions) is manifested. From having become accustomed to such samadhi and post-meditation like a shadow, the yogi's mind will eventually abide as one taste in such a samadhi with the characteristics just mentioned, where all elaborations are pacified. At that time, one obtains the term "manifesting the Dharmakaya." Therefore, in this text as well, it will be explained: "The dry firewood of knowable objects, completely burned and pacified, that is the Dharmakaya of the Victorious Ones. At that time, there is no birth and no cessation. The cessation of mind is the manifestation by the body." Therefore, emptiness, which is devoid of all objective elaborations, is termed the ultimate truth, and there is not the slightest difference between the perfection of wisdom that realizes objects as empty. When the yogi's mind, through the power of discriminating wisdom, transforms into the nature of emptiness, it is merely the application of the terms perfection of wisdom and non-conceptual wisdom. Therefore, there are two types of perfection of wisdom: the perfection of wisdom without appearance and the perfection of wisdom with appearance. Among these, the perfection of wisdom without appearance is said to be the non-conceptual samadhi that is devoid of all elaborations. The perfection of wisdom with appearance is the one that, through the wisdom attained after meditation, completely ascertains all dharmas as emptiness, devoid of all elaborations, arising dependently, and being merely of the nature of illusion. It is what is called the name of the correct view. The perfection of wisdom without appearance in the state of the ten bhumis
