Who will lead these blind ones? Who will take out the heart from each person's chest? Who will cremate those speaking corpses? Having come to Tibet for the sake of beings, not protecting permanently, the heart is not pleased. The minds and hearts of all gods and humans of Tibet have turned towards Guru Rinpoche. Though walking, the body stumbles. Who will save from the abyss of the lower realms? Do not abandon the followers on the plains. When you, Lord, depart to the land of Rakshasas, who will perform the king's lama offering? Where will the wise and virtuous gather? To whom will the great meditators offer their experiences and realizations? Who will dispel the faults and obstacles in meditation? Who will guide the worthy individuals? Who will uphold the Buddha's teachings? Where will the assemblies of the faithful gather? Like this, even the seven Jomos, having abandoned their native lands of birth, to whom will they entrust their hearts and minds? From the king above down to the beggar below, to whom will all the gods and humans of Tibet entrust their devotion and heart's reliance? Alas! O Guru Rinpoche, please continue to protect Tibet! The Teacher spoke these words: O gods and humans, headed by the king, listen to what Orgyen says. By the power of karma, aspiration, and compassion, the Buddha's body, speech, and mind teachings are now as clear as sunlight in Tibet. Some of Orgyen's lineage holders also reside here. All gods and humans act according to the Dharma. The kingdom and the sacred Dharma flourish, and the practitioners also hold their own ground. The objects of faith and offerings in Lhasa, Samye, and other places are good in Tibet, and there is no difference from Orgyen's residence. The instructions fill the earth above and below, and the naturally arisen supports of body, speech, and mind are complete. The Jomos have also gained freedom. Now, there is no need to lament and weep. While you are enjoying food and comfort, I will go to the land of Rakshasas. In the time of the five hundred, there will be lamenting and weeping, and there will be a time of suffering in Tibet. At that time, the nature of Tibet will become evil, cursing practitioners and praising those who commit evil deeds. The results of those evil deeds will ripen, and the merit of Tibet will gradually decline. Even I, Orgyen, will be difficult to protect, but all temporary happiness will be accomplished by my emanations. Because it is difficult to tame impure sentient beings, even staying here in person will not tame them. He said that he had finished one task of benefiting beings. Without delay, he went to Gungthang Lakar. The prince and subjects performed farewell ceremonies. When he stayed at Gungthang Lakar, white and red clouds appeared in the sky.
