Saḥ. Various kinds of fearsome and terrifying events arise from the king's magical powers. No matter how much mantra is recited, there is no power to harm the enemy. Sudden illnesses and harm will come to oneself. (248a) The power of speech and blessings diminish, transferring to the mantra. If it transfers to the substance upon which the practice is based: If it transfers to the external support, many relatives will die. If it transfers to the internal support, sons and daughters will have internal conflicts. If it transfers to the secret support, various undesirable things will happen. I am an emanation that appears during times of worldly chaos. There is no coming from anywhere or going to anywhere. When I am reversed, there will be three ways of reversing. Reversing one's own body, life, merit, and fortune onto misfortune. Reversing all three: sons and daughters, people and wealth, and food. Reversing relatives, attendants, and harmonious conditions onto practice. When one's own body and life are reversed onto misfortune: The body will have many illnesses, and the mind will have much suffering. Life will be suddenly cut short, dying by sword or incense knife. The harm inflicted on the enemy will return to oneself. Retinue will scatter, relationships will break, and many will not be forgiven. The enemy will not leave before, and a storm will rise after. One does not want to perform curses and spells, stopping entrustments and curses. Many people will gossip about oneself behind one's back. Villagers will become enemies, and demons will enter the heart. One wants to summon oath substances and destroy practice substances. Disagreeing in view and conduct, mixing with friends will reverse onto oneself. When wives, daughters, people, and wealth are all reversed: First the wife, then the children will die. Family members will fight in the morning and (248b) fight in the evening, conflicts will arise. Saying that there are signs for the enemy because of broken vows: Many crimes will occur in one's own retinue. Sons and daughters will be crushed, falling from high castles. Going to a high place, but digging holes. Various bad omens will occur to oneself, and the enemy will prosper while relatives decline, and demons will teach evil. Dreaming of good omens, but bad things will happen. Livestock will become debts, unable to be repaid. All possessions will go into the hands of others. Misfortune will enter one's own heart, and the three doors of body, speech, and mind will act like demons. All utensils will be broken and smashed. One will not gain freedom, wandering like a mad dog. After drinking alcohol, whatever is in one's mind will come out of one's mouth. Sometimes crying, beating one's chest, and shouting. When all relatives and attendants are reversed: The king will follow misfortune like a dog. Mother and sisters, uncle or nephew. One's own guru, teacher, will follow the retinue. Relatives will fall into the grave, sons and daughters will become ghouls.

Gathering demons and spirits descends, sons and daughters must offer to their husbands, descendants cannot escape death and decaying corpses, sons and daughters are scattered, land collapses, and wealth is abandoned. One does not heal the sick, but instead worships ghosts. Wherever one goes, (one must) follow outside. (It) flaps the earth and stirs the ocean. Monks and tantric practitioners, possessed by evil spirits, a Sangha appears. Going to a haunted meditation room is inauspicious. I am the master of temples, stupas, and scriptures, collecting and enjoying the essence of all the young. I pay great attention to strife, harm, and lice. By the method of extracting the Raksha's (藏文,rakSha,梵文天城体,rakSha,梵文罗马拟音,rakSha,guardian) heart, I prevent it by the method of destroying the Raksha's (藏文,rakSha,梵文天城体,rakSha,梵文罗马拟音,rakSha,guardian) heart. Whatever strife, harm, or prevention occurs, the master's life and biography should be told in detail, proclaimed day and night without ceasing, offering life and heart, and making vows. Then, the monks hit the key points, perform entrustment, auspicious teachings, and protection, as well as bondage, punishment, oppression, and Torma offerings, both internal and external secret rituals. The enemy of Buddhism is actually the food in the field. After that, when the master was on the way to Samye Monastery (བསམ་ཡས་,Samye, established around 775 AD, located in present-day Zangnan County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet), resting by the Lohita River (Lohita, ancient name of the Yarlung Tsangpo River), a great sage, radiating dark blue light, dressed as a tantric practitioner in coarse clothes, riding a small horse, then dismounting and leading it. His breath touched the master's body, causing slight discomfort, like breathing on a mirror. A tantric practitioner's attire, resembling a shadow-covered Raksha (藏文,rakSha,梵文天城体,rakSha,梵文罗马拟音,rakSha,guardian), riding a pony and leading the horse, asked: Who are you? He took off his gray hat and said: I am a fierce, wrathful, violent, and life-taking figure, my father is a Raksha (藏文,rakSha,梵文天城体,rakSha,梵文罗马拟音,rakSha,guardian), and my mother is a Naga maiden. The master said: Sage, you radiate light, you seem easy for me to use as a servant. What is the reason for having nine heads? Why is there a crow's head on the crown? Why is the upper body a human corpse? Why is the lower body a snake? Why is there a bow and arrow in the right hand? Why is the left hand holding a snake lasso? Why are there eyes without a head and body? Why is the body the color of smoke? Why is there hail in the mouth? In general, how many genders do the planets have? What does it mean to call a planet "neither male nor female"? Being called a sage but harming sentient beings, do the planets possess all five elements? After speaking, the dark blue light shone.
