Separating the various categories without mixing them. The teacher who manifests with miraculous power is supreme. The bodhisattvas of the eighth bhumi gather and connect. Then, Yuza took the queen to Tsawarong (Chawa Rong, present-day Chayu County). After reporting the previous agreement in detail, Vairochana sang this song of joy: The nature of Vairochana is like this: Originally possessing eleven true meanings. Because there is not even a bit of purification of the obscuration of knowledge, Therefore, he was born in the land of the Tubo Tsanpo. Although searching for the supreme Dharma from India, The impure queen and ministers all discussed and Exiled the difficult-to-tame queen to Tsawa Rong. The kingdom of Tsawa Rong (182a) was all transformed into white. Now I will return to the center of Tubo. On that impure illusory aggregate, The union of two truths, immutable, expands like the sky. May the king, ministers, and people all be happy. Ultimately, may we meet in the Sambhogakaya pure land. After saying this, they went to the center of Tubo, On the way, they met an old man named Spam Gen Mipham Gonpo, He was white-haired, hunched over, and already a hundred years old, He leaned on his cane and asked: Where do you come from, and where are you going? Yuza said: We come from Jiarong and are going to Tubo. The old man hummed and said: You two guests are confused, Instead of staying in Tsawa Rong to listen to the Dharma, I heard that there is a wise man named Vairochana, Who has risen like the sun of Dharma. You are not going there, you are like them. Vairochana said: That person is me. The old man propped his eyes with his cane and looked, Hugging Vairochana's neck, The old man said after a while: I am old, without Dharma, unable to face death, I feel pain and old age. I am so happy to meet you, old man, I am so happy! Please give me a Dharma that will benefit me at the time of death. Then, Vairochana placed the support for meditation on the old man's body, Tied the meditation belt around his waist, and imparted the key instructions, The old man did not abandon his body (182b) and became a Buddha. After that, they came to the middle of Samye Monastery, His elderly parents were also living there. Vairochana sang this song of inner joy: Serving the lama in three ways, Is like the gathering of the great scholar Vairochana. If these places of my reliance are happy, Then whether others are satisfied or not, my heart is joyful. Reading the sutras and tantras with three kinds of wisdom, Is like a merchant going to the treasure island. I have devoted my body, life, and wealth to the Dharma, What does it matter if I suffer in this life?

Even when it comes, the mind is at ease. This body, well adorned with the three trainings, is like a king's consort going to her wedding. I have firmly grasped the Dharma myself, even if others speak ill of me, my mind is at ease. Looking at the Tripitaka with admiration is like raising a lamp in a dark island. I practice patience towards enemies on my body, even if they say I am of no benefit to others, my mind is at ease. My body, speech, and mind are devoted to the Dharma, like a traveler from afar arriving in their homeland. I am always unswerving from pure virtuous deeds, even if they say I cannot follow the sages, my mind is at ease. Sending wisdom as an antidote to the three poisons is like giving camphor to a feverish disease. My thoughts are only of the sacred Dharma, even if they say I am scheming, my mind is at ease. Listening, contemplating, and meditating without bias is like tying knots in the middle of the sky. I have cut through the false additions of inner and outer Dharma, even if they say I do not know all the Dharma, my mind is at ease. The yogi who soars in the realization of Ati is like being liberated from the darkness of being without support. I have become skilled in teaching, listening, and meditating, even if they say I am not skilled in worldly affairs, my mind is at ease. Cherishing others more than myself is like the Jataka tales of the Bodhisattva's ascetic practices. I do not give instructions in the direction of favoritism, even if they say I have not won people's hearts, my mind is at ease. Accumulating the provisions of the three kinds of generosity is like a poor person finding a wish-fulfilling jewel. Offering whatever I have to the Guru, even if I die of starvation or freezing, my mind is at ease. Leading with the three kinds of ethics is like establishing a path in a terrifying gorge. Carrying the good, the bad, and the middling on my shoulders, even if they say I am incompetent and humble, my mind is at ease. Wearing the armor of the three kinds of patience is like a turtle climbing a strong fortress. Abandoning all worldly affairs, even if they say I am vulnerable and powerless, my mind is at ease. Riding the fine horse of the three kinds of diligence is like meeting a competitive person and a powerful enemy. Standing firm in a forsaken land without despair, even if they say I have nowhere to go, my mind is at ease. Holding the earth fortress of the three kinds of Samadhi is like the sun rising in a cloudless sky. Thoroughly cutting off the root of the mind, even if they say my view is a wrong view and not Dharma, my mind is at ease. Possessing the three trainings and being carried by confidence is like Mount Meru being taller than small mountains from its peak.
