Do not generate resentment towards others because of one's position. Only then will wisdom increase. Do not hold grudges. This means that if you are harmed, previously scolded, or verbally abused, whatever happens, take the blame yourself. Do not change your expression towards others, and do not retaliate with harsh words. Do not hold grudges in your heart either. Nowadays, our Dharma has not become an antidote to self-grasping, so the power of patience is small. Holding grudges tightly. Doing Dharma practice in that way is meaningless, so it should become an antidote to self-grasping. Do not do things that are fleeting. This means do not be fickle and always changing your expression. That is harmful to friends, so abandon it. Do not desire excessive returns. This means that when others help you or bestow kindness, do not express gratitude with words, nor crave fame and praise because of it. In short, do not crave even pleasant words for the kindness and help others have given you. Thus, throughout your life, cultivate the two aspects of Bodhicitta through the method of exchange, without any basis for disputes. There is no need to fight with gods, demons, or humans. By pacifying the gods, pacifying the nagas, and making everything happy, start with happiness at the time of death and turn your back on suffering. Go from light to light, from bliss to bliss. The benefit of these teachings is that they transform the five degenerations into the path to enlightenment. In general, the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni appeared during the time when the five degenerations were rampant. Especially now, it is the degenerate age, even worse than the five degenerations, so all sentient beings think only of afflictions, and do only evil deeds and sins. Everyone likes to do evil, and they feel a sting when someone is good, so their body, speech, and mind are only engaged in harming others. Furthermore, the non-human protectors who like white have gone to pure lands for the sake of the Bodhisattvas. The demons who like black, their power and strength increase, bringing many inauspicious things to sentient beings. Therefore, nowadays, sentient beings suffer various kinds of suffering, all because of negative circumstances.

Moreover, especially for those who practice the Dharma, various obstacles arise. Therefore, in such a degenerate time, if one does not train in such a Dharma, no matter which Dharma path one enters, one will not become proficient in the Dharma. If one enters this path and strives, all adverse conditions will become conducive to training on the path to enlightenment. Other benefits include that practicing virtue for an eon in a completely pure realm is not as effective as practicing virtue for a year in this time of the decline of the Buddha's teachings, as it will perfect the accumulation of merit. Those who are capable of practicing mind training suffer because they cannot bear the flourishing of the five degenerations. If one knows how to train the mind, then the so-called "source of happiness in the city" refers to the body of the yogi who meditates on mind training. This is because all happiness in this life and the next, in samsara and nirvana, for oneself and others, depends on this present body. Therefore, all efforts should be focused on this alone, striving to practice. If one can integrate Dharma and mind, imprint it on the heart, make Dharma a habit, and experience the taste of Dharma, training the mind with one focus, then without much delay, one will attain the perfection of complete fulfillment, accomplishing all the benefits for oneself and others. The author summarizes these points into definitive instructions and elaborates on them: Due to my own strong desire, enduring suffering and harsh words, I requested the essential instructions for subduing self-grasping. Now, even if I die, I have no regrets. This is the great yogi Chakawa, expressing his joyful words of determination after overcoming the enemy, by showing the way he practiced. May the merit of gathering the words of the blessed Kunga Gyatso Lama, with a mind of benefiting others, cause the mind training to carry beings like an elephant, and destroy the steadfast mountain of self-clinging. May the rays of your fame spread in all directions, attracting iron like a magnet, and may minds be moved by your sweet voice, and may we come before you, seeing your face, which is difficult to find, and accomplishing great meaning. In the sky of the Golden Island Kagyu's mind, the mind training is like a sun with the light of the sky, but nowadays it is obscured by clouds of bad thoughts, the difference between gold and brass

Unclear. Those fortunate ones who wish to abandon the suffering of self and others, Should abandon the inferior path that speaks of incompleteness, And abide on the path of the supreme chariot of the Bodhisattvas. Other than this, hoping to attain enlightenment, Is ultimately in vain. The essence of the Kadampa, well-churned from all the scriptures, is exceedingly wonderful.
