愿所有清净者和众生都能从痛苦的海洋中解脱出来， 为了获得遍知佛陀（rnam mkhyen sangs rgyas）的果位，应当进入圣者弥勒（byams pa）和普贤（kun bzang po）等菩萨的愿行。如此，这部名为《缘起修习次第之窍诀——圣法之宝箧》（rten 'brel gyi sgom pa'i rim pa'i man ngag dam pa'i chos kyi za ma tog）的论著，是德西仁波切（sde srid rin po che）帕摩竹巴（phag mo gru pa）大宝上师（dpal gong ma chen po）的心髓。由噶举派（bka' rgyud）比丘白莲花（padma dkar po）所著，愿以此功德，佛陀的教法兴盛、广大，并长久住世！萨瓦芒嘎拉姆（sarba mangga lam）！吉祥！

May all pure beings and sentient beings be liberated from the ocean of suffering, With the aspiration to attain the state of omniscient Buddhahood (rnam mkhyen sangs rgyas), one should engage in the aspirations of noble Maitreya (byams pa) and Samantabhadra (kun bzang po), and others. Thus, this treatise called 'The Key to the Stages of Contemplating Dependent Arising - A Treasure Trove of Holy Dharma' (rten 'brel gyi sgom pa'i rim pa'i man ngag dam pa'i chos kyi za ma tog), is the heart essence of Desi Rinpoche (sde srid rin po che), Phagmo Drupa (phag mo gru pa), the great glorious superior one (dpal gong ma chen po). Written by the Kagyu (bka' rgyud) monk Pema Karpo (padma dkar po), may this work cause the Buddha's teachings to flourish, expand, and remain for a long time! Sarva Mangalam!
