Also in the Gur Scripture it is said: 'Why is he called Vajrasattva?' He takes the form of a teacher, with the aim of benefiting sentient beings, and abides in an ordinary form. Thus it is said. Therefore, first take refuge and generate the mind of enlightenment, visualize yourself as the deity, and on the seat of eight great lions, on a lotus and moon cushion on your crown, visualize your root guru, the lord of the six families, the great all-pervading Vajradhara. His body is clear blue, peaceful and smiling, his two hands hold a vajra and bell at his heart, adorned with jewels and the six seals, wearing a silk upper garment and lower skirt, sitting in the vajra posture, appearing in a chain of light. Think of your own body and all enjoyments as a great cloud raining down an abundance of offerings, and recite: 'All sentient beings equal to the sky, I take refuge in the body of the guru, Buddha, and Dharma.' 'I take refuge in the Sambhogakaya of the guru.' 'I take refuge in the Nirmanakaya of the guru's compassion.' 'I take refuge in the guru, the precious Buddha.' Pray in this way, with your mind and recitation united, generating firm faith. From the brow of the guru's body, white light radiates, dissolving into your own forehead, purifying the defilements of the body, receiving the vase empowerment, having the ability to practice the path of the generation stage, leaving the potential to attain the fruit of the Vajra Nirmanakaya. From the throat, red light radiates, dissolving into your own throat, purifying the obscurations of speech, receiving the secret empowerment, having the ability to practice the path of the channels, winds, and illusory body, leaving the potential to attain the Vajra of Speech. From the heart, blue light radiates, dissolving into your heart, purifying the defilements of the mind, receiving the third empowerment, having the ability to practice the path of the messengers, leaving the potential to attain the Dharmakaya. Light radiates from the three places, dissolving into your own three places, purifying the sins of clinging to body, speech, and mind as separate entities, receiving the fourth empowerment, having the ability to practice the Mahamudra, leaving the potential to attain the Svabhavikakaya. Finally, it dissolves into light, dissolving into yourself, dedicating the root of virtue. The Meditation and Recitation of Great Compassion The Meditation and Recitation of Great Compassion. Wishing to practice the meditation and recitation of the noble Avalokiteshvara, generate refuge and the mind of enlightenment. From that emptiness, the seed syllable 'Hrih' (藏文:སྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:大悲) arises, transforming into Avalokiteshvara, white in color, with four arms, the first two hands joined at the heart, the lower right hand holding a crystal rosary, the lower left hand holding a white lotus, adorned with various jewels. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adorned with all perfections. Seated in vajra posture, at his heart, on a moon disc, encircled by Recite the mantra. Visualize light radiating from it, accomplishing the two benefits. Finally, dedicate the merit to bodhi. Daily Practice of Longevity Daily Practice of Longevity. I take refuge in the glorious and holy lamas, the embodiment of the body, speech, mind, and wisdom of all the Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times, the root and lineage lamas. I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha until I attain enlightenment. By the merit of my giving and other virtuous deeds, may I quickly attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings. Oṃ svabhāva śuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho 'ham (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ स्वभावा शुद्धः सर्व धर्माः स्वभावा शुद्धो हम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ svabhāva śuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho 'ham, meaning: Om, purity of essence, all dharmas, purity of essence, I). Visualize in the sky in front of you, on a lotus and moon seat held up by peacocks, a red སྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: श्री, Romanized Sanskrit: śrī, meaning: auspiciousness) transforming into the Bhagavan Amitayus, his body the color of molten red gold, reddish-yellow, adorned with all the major and minor marks, extremely peaceful, holding in his hands in meditative equipoise a vase filled with the nectar of immortality, adorned with silk and jewels. At his heart, on a moon disc, is སྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: श्री, Romanized Sanskrit: śrī, meaning: auspiciousness), surrounded by ཨོཾ་ཨ་མཱ་ར་ཎི་ཛཱི་ཝནྟི་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ अमरणि जिवन्ति ये स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ amāraṇi jīvanti ye svāhā, meaning: Om Amarani Jivanti Ye Svaha). While reciting this, rays of light emanate from him, capable of prolonging life and increasing merit in the world. Gathering the essence of the four elements, the life of sentient beings, and all the body, speech, mind, and wisdom of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, dissolving into the vase in his hands. The boiling nectar enters from the crown of my head, filling my entire body. Finally, the protector dissolves into myself, and I visualize myself as inseparable from Amitayus. Finally, recite: By this merit, may I quickly attain the state of deathlessness, and may I place all beings without exception in that state. This was composed by the human king Tsewang Tenzin Dorje at Dekyi Ling at the request of Pema Karpo. One Session Practice of Mahamudra One Session Practice of Mahamudra When contemplating the profound instructions, first straighten the body. Let the upper and lower winds remain in their natural state. With one-pointed mind, fix on any object of focus that is comfortable; this is called 'tethering the elephant of the mind to the pillar of mindfulness.' When you settle in this way, you forget the object of focus and go under the power of other thoughts; this is distraction. If you do not notice the distraction, it has been going on for a long time.
