The meditation on the stages of Tummo is as follows: Visualize your own body as the support, the palace of measure. In the center of it, the central channel, Roma, and Kyangma, the three channels, and the four chakras, the initial support is the nature of the deity. Therefore, meditate in this way: the crown chakra has thirty-two petals, the throat chakra has sixteen petals, the heart chakra has eight petals, and the navel chakra has sixty-four petals. Know that these channels are places, filled with Bodhicitta, and regard it as the father. In the center of the crown chakra, the Guru's form is Vajra Father and Mother, the nature of the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: Haṃ). Therefore, the sixteen vowels are heroes, and the petals connected to them are heroines. In the center of the heart chakra, the Guru's mind is Vajra Father and Mother, the form of the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Huṃ). The four directions on the outside are A, I, U, E, and the four corners are Ya, Ra, La, Va, making a total of eight. In the center of the throat chakra, the Guru's speech is Vajra Father and Mother, the form of the syllable (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Āḥ). The four directions on the outside are Ā, Ī, Ū, Ē, and the four corners are Ṛ, Ṝ, ḷ, ḹ, making a total of eight. In the center of the navel chakra, the Guru's wisdom is Wisdom Vajra, the form of the syllable (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ). On the outside, there are A, Ka, Tsa, Ṭa, Ta, Pa, Ya, Sha, eight in total. Connect the petals of the crown chakra and the throat chakra, connect the petals of the heart chakra and the navel chakra. Below the navel of method and wisdom, use the shape of the three curves on the A syllable (Tibetan: ཨ་ཤད་སུམ་འཁྱོག, Devanagari: अःशद् सुम् ख्योग, Romanized Sanskrit: aḥśad sum khyog, Literal meaning: Aḥśad sum khyog) of the syllable (Tibetan: ཀྵ, Devanagari: क्ष, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣa, Literal meaning: Kṣa) as a cushion. The upper ends of the three channels separate from the crown chakra, the central channel inserts into the space between the eyebrows, and the two side channels insert into the tips of the right and left nostrils. When the breath is exhaled, separate one A syllable from the A syllable below the navel, pass through the navel chakra of the four chakras from the right side of the body, circle the central syllables three times, and visualize reaching the tip of the nose from the crown chakra through the space between the eyebrows. When the breath is inhaled, enter from the left nostril in the form of the syllable (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ), pass through the left side of the body, circle the central syllables, and visualize reaching the secret place, the A syllable. When in a state of illness, visualize the nature of the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Huṃ) merging with the A syllable, everything is like seeing an image with the eyes. The order of the mantra is: perform the seven-point posture of Vairochana with the body, the breath enters from the two nostrils and reaches below the navel. The lower breath reaches below the navel and merges into one, enters the syllable (Tibetan: ཀྵ, Devanagari: क्ष, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣa, Literal meaning: Kṣa), touches the A syllable, sparks fly from the A syllable, and all the channel places of the four chakras become the image of flames, just like an iron block being burned by fire. From the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: Haṃ) of the crown chakra, the nectar of Bodhicitta descends, and repeatedly meditate on descending, burning, and dripping. The third is the stage of wisdom: then, with the fire of Tummo, burn all the channels of the body. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The entire earth becomes like a red-hot iron in a blacksmith's furnace. From the crown of the head, passing through the space between the eyebrows, all outward appearances transform into the fire of Tummo wisdom. The essence of all containers and contents condenses into nectar Bodhicitta, flowing like a stream of milk. All the chakras of the crown, throat, heart, and navel are filled with fire. Meditate on resting in the manner of repose in the secret place, visualizing the unobstructed, all-pervading body as a pure land. Recite prayers and so forth. Contemplate that all requests dissolve into the nature of bliss. Fourth, the secret stage is: by practicing breath retention, the breath is controlled. The control of the breath's power, number, length, color, and ability occurs sequentially. From this, the bliss-warmth of Tummo increases, and the knots of the channels open. The breath leads the bindus into the channels, causing channel pain and breath pain. Due to the influence of habitual tendencies, various pure and impure appearances arise. First is the stage of warmth or suffering. Then, the warmth increases Bodhicitta, causing unbearable bliss in the body. Second is the stage of bliss. Inner bliss captivates the mind, and it no longer engages with external desires. From this, thoughts cease, and non-conceptual Samadhi arises. Third is the stage of non-conceptuality. By the power of life-force exertion, the breath enters the central channel, obstructing the flow of the perverse paths, and cheating death. Then, the knots of the coarse channels are untied, and the lower breath merges into one. Through the power of yoga, the breath enters the central channel. All impure elements transform into purity. By possessing eight qualities, it transforms into a rainbow body. Twenty-one thousand breaths dissolve into the central channel. The Lama becomes the Speech Vajra Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body). Meditating on the Lama as Dharmakaya (Truth Body) in the Bhaga Mandala Third, meditating on the Lama as Dharmakaya (Truth Body) in the Bhaga Mandala, includes four excellences: the excellence of self, the excellence of others, the excellence of time, and the excellence of wisdom. First is the excellence of self. From the 'Two Examinations Tantra': 'The aspect of semen is the Bhagavan (Blessed One), its bliss is called desire.' The meaning is: the melting semen of Bodhicitta residing in the body is the means (Upaya), and the bliss that relies on it is wisdom (Prajna). It is also the mind that arises from the means. From the first to the fifteenth of the waxing moon, from the toes to the crown of the head, the left side of the body gradually increases, and at the sixteenth part, it pervades the entire body, which is the nature of sixteen kinds of compassion. From the first to the fifteenth of the waning moon, it descends relying on the right side of the body, abiding in the nature of sixteen kinds of emptiness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
