Collection of Teachings by Omniscient Pema Karpo PK71: Essence of the Profound Uncommon Instructions on the Two Stages. 10-272 Essence of the Profound Uncommon Instructions on the Two Stages. Visualizing the Lama as the Nirmanakaya in the Constructed Mandala. Essence of the Profound Uncommon Instructions on the Two Stages. Engaging in the practice of the profound uncommon meditation: 10-273 'Field, intention, and objects, combine into one and pray. Whatever fruit is desired will surely arise. Do not be lazy, yogi.' The meaning of this is: Visualizing the Lama as the Nirmanakaya in the Constructed Mandala; Visualizing the Lama as the Sambhogakaya in the Mandala of the Body; Visualizing the Lama as the Dharmakaya in the Mandala of the Bhaga; Visualizing the Lama as the Svabhavikakaya in the Mandala of the Bodhichitta. Among these four, first: 'May all sentient beings, as vast as the sky, be the Lama,' etc., take refuge three times. 'In order to liberate all sentient beings from unbearable suffering and establish them in the non-abiding Nirvana, I shall engage in the practice of Lama Vajrasattva.' Make this aspiration, generate the supreme Bodhichitta. 'May all sentient beings have happiness and the cause of happiness,' etc., cultivate the four immeasurables, and thus enter the generation of Bodhichitta. Then, as explained in the Abhisamaya, visualize 'Om Svabhava,' etc., generate the self-generation, visualize the front generation. Prostrate, offer the Mandala, etc., perform the seven-branch practice. After taking the self-entry, visualize it dissolving back, with intense longing and devotion, as if unable to bear separation: 10-274 Lord, who manifests in forms to tame beings with unconditioned compassion, who ripens all beings, I take refuge in the Lama, the compassionate Nirmanakaya. I take refuge in the Lord, the compassionate Nirmanakaya. May all sentient beings, as vast as the sky, take refuge in the Lama, the compassionate Nirmanakaya. I take refuge in the Lord, the compassionate Nirmanakaya. Please bless that each emanation may appear in front of each sentient being. Please bless that as soon as it appears, all sentient beings may attain perfect enlightenment. Thus, request the desired accomplishments, and then dissolve the mandala of the front generation into oneself, contemplating that self and other are inseparable, and meditate repeatedly until clear appearance arises. If you become weary, then in your own heart, on a sun disc, in the center is a blue 'Hūṃ' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable, surrounded by 'Om Vajra Guru Dakini Siddhi...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, focus on circumambulating the (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) syllable. Recite as much as possible. Light radiates from the mantra rosary, benefiting sentient beings. Offerings are made to all Buddhas. The blessings of their body, speech, and mind, in the form of light, enter through one's pores and dissolve into oneself. Repeatedly practice the visualization of drawing in and releasing. Then, like breathing on a mirror, dissolve the mandala and all the retinue deities into oneself. Maintain the pride of being the main deity, the father and mother, without separation. Then practice the subtle bindu yoga: Visualize oneself as Vajradhara, father and mother, with Vajrasattva in the heart, his body as white as the moon, standing, with the four maras pressed under his feet. Embracing the consort. In his heart, on a four-petaled white lotus, is a vajra the size of a mustard seed, with a hollow center. Within it, visualize the mandala of the guru Vajradhara, including the main deity and retinue, as clearly as an image appearing in the eye. When the breath goes out through the nostrils, visualize light radiating from the mandala deity in the center of the vajra, the light emanating from the nostrils, in various forms of Buddhas, placing all sentient beings in the state of Vajrasattva. When the breath comes in, it dissolves into the deity in the heart. When the breath remains inside, contemplate being inseparable from the mandala deity. Without being distracted by anything else, focus single-mindedly on this; this is the subtle yoga. After stabilizing this visualization, visualize Vajrasattva in the heart, on a moon disc on the crown of the head, with a blue and clear bindu like a mustard flower. From there, a stream of nectar descends, flowing continuously like milk from the union of Vajrasattva, father and mother, in the heart. At one's navel, visualize a wind mandala and a fire mandala the size of a fingernail, on which is a skull cup filled with nectar. In the center are the vowels and consonants, with a moon disc, blessed by the (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) syllable. The wind ignites the fire, causing the nectar in the skull cup to boil, overflow, and fill the entire body, satisfying it with undiminished bliss. This is the bindu yoga. Through this, one will attain the body vajra emanation of the guru, like a rainbow; this is the practice of the vase empowerment. Now begins the practice of visualizing the guru as the Sambhogakaya in the body mandala. Second, visualizing the guru as the Sambhogakaya in the body mandala, divided into four: the order of the sutras, the order of the mantras, the order of wisdom, and the order of secrets. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
