However, he thought, 'In terms of view, meditation, conduct, and result, is there anything more profound than this?' So he went to U-Tsang (dbus gtsang) and consulted with all the best Geshes (dge bshes, spiritual mentors) and scholars at that time, engaging in extensive study and contemplation. Once, in Lhasa, he offered a hundred thousand prostrations and circumambulations to the Jowo (jo bo, Shakyamuni Buddha statue), and made offerings to the best of his ability. After praying, one night he had a dream in which an eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara (spyan ras gzigs bcu gcig zhal), not very large, was standing to the right of the Jowo statue. The Avalokiteśvara said, 'Take many provisions and go to India. You will accomplish many special purposes and benefit sentient beings.' After that, he resolved to go to India. After spending fifteen years in U-Tsang, at the age of thirty-four, he went to Vajrasana (rdo rje gdan, Bodh Gaya) to pay homage, accompanied by a Geshe Dama Dorje (dge bshes dar ma rdo rje) from U (dbus), and three attendants. In addition, there were two companions, namely Lowa Jowo Jangchup Drak (glo ba jo bo byang chub grags), who traveled together to visit the sacred sites of India. Together with four people from Kamarupa (ka ma ru pa), the Yogi Shram Pala Matiba (dzo ki shram pha la ma ti ba), and the lama and three attendants, a total of thirteen people set out from Kyirong (skyid grong), passing through Nepal to India. In Nepal, he received the empowerment of the Shri Chakrasamvara (dpal bde mchog) mandala, the blessings of Vajrayogini (rdo rje rnal 'byor ma), and the Four Seats Empowerment (gdan bzhi'i dbang) from a Pandit (paN+Di ta) who was also called Ananda (a nan da), and also called Yerang Pandit (ye rang paN+Di ta). He also received many instructions on the sadhanas, tantras, and completion stage (rdzogs rim) related to these empowerments. He studied phonetics (sgra'i gnas) extensively and became almost completely knowledgeable. After that, he went to India and first met the Lama Mahayogi (ma hA yo gi). He requested the blessings and instructions of Vajravarahi (rdo rje phag mo). One night, during a tsokhor (tshogs kyi 'khor lo, feast gathering), the lama said, 'Do you see the Blessed Mother Vajravarahi residing in the sky?' When he looked up, he directly saw the Blessed Mother, the main deity, and her retinue of five deities, and thus many doors of samadhi (ting nge 'dzin) were born in his mindstream. After that, at that time in India, there was a lama known as the Younger Vajrasana Pa (rdo rje gdan pa chung ba), who was an undisputed lama. He went to him and listened to many secret mantra empowerments, tantras, sadhanas, and instructions. He also listened to the explanations of the 'Extensive Sutra' (phal chen), the 'Heap of Jewels' (dkon brtsegs), and the 'Samadhiraja Sutra' (ting nge 'dzin rgyal po). In addition, he listened to 1008 sadhanas from Vajrasana Pa (rdo rje gdan pa) and Pandit Donyo Dorje (paN+Di ta don yod rdo rje) and others. From these, Lochen (lo paN, translator) compiled one hundred and eight of the best, deepest, and most essential ones. The lama gave a general Abhisamaya (mngon rtogs, realization) for these sadhanas, as well as a clear sadhana for each one, and for each of these, he gave an explanation lineage (bshad lung) and a blessing lineage (byin gyi brlabs pa'i lung). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In addition, he traveled with the transmissions and recitations of teachings, as well as the instructions on vows and the four types of precepts and practices, spreading the Dharma far and wide. Furthermore, Lama Dorje Denpa (Vajrasana) bestowed the essential instructions for averting the harm of non-Buddhists, the great Torma of Khawarma (Mouth-Burning Mother), the essential instructions of Bhayana, and the fierce fire puja of Achala (Immovable One). After that, on his way back, he went to a border area to rest, where he saw many pretas (hungry ghosts) crying. He asked, 'Why are you crying?' The pretas replied, 'When you were here, we received many Tormas, so we did not feel hungry. But since you left, no one has given us Tormas, and we have become hungry and thirsty, so we are crying.' For the sake of these pretas, he bought forty bags of rice and established a grand tradition of offering Tormas to the pretas, and for this he offered wealth worth nine taels of gold. Later, when he arrived in Nepal, the Nepalese innkeepers would take half of the goods of guests coming from Tibet, and demand high prices for the other half at will. Even if there was a slight misbehavior, they would be punished by the king. If they fell ill, they could not die or be sick in the room, but had to be carried outside, etc. To eliminate these sufferings, he bought a large open space in Yambu Yagal (Kathmandu) at a high price, and built many small houses and cellars there, so that Tibetans could live there. In this way, the previous offenses would no longer occur, and guests could exchange their goods for the goods they desired. In addition, to shield from the sun, he also built a large wooden house without walls called Chopari. He said, 'If this house breaks down, repair it.' and left a lot of wealth to the innkeepers. Thus, he stayed in southern Nepal for nine years, and at the age of forty-three, he returned to Tibet. First, Kunchok Kyab (Three Jewels Protector) of Lungtengpa and others gave him a good reception, and served him for a long time, bestowing empowerments, transmissions, essential instructions, sadhanas, etc. to many disciples, and extensively turned the wheel of Dharma. Later, Lama Kunchok Gyalpo (Three Jewels Victorious) of Sakya invited him, and he listened to many teachings and served him for a long time, and also bestowed various teachings to the faithful disciples. At the age of sixty-three, after Lama Kunchok Gyalpo (Three Jewels Victorious) passed away, the young Lama Chenpo (Great Lama) was invited to take the seat of Sakya Monastery, and he served as the abbot for eight years, teaching many aspects of Dharma to the disciples, and built a Namgyal Stupa (Victorious Stupa) as his personal deity, and buried a hundred thousand Namgyal images as treasures. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
