At that time, in this world, the place of karma, All places, fields, cemeteries, and so on, Were possessed by gods, asuras, nagas, yakshas, And gandharvas, rakshasas, and so on. At that time, all of them, Having heard of the greatness of Matram Rudra, The king of Lanka, Dampa Tokkar, And the lord of the asuras, and others, knew they were defeated. They all had faith in pacification and subjugation. Those retinues went to him for refuge. He was the bodyguard, his words were commands, His mind was delight, he employed pacification and subjugation. At that time, Rudra and his retinue in this world, Were unrivaled in power and might, and beings, Killed men and coupled with women, oppressed by the darkness of sorrow. Those heretical demon hosts, Were seen by the Buddhas of the three times as objects to be tamed. In order to liberate the pitiful and suffering beings, They consulted in the realm of Dharma. The essence of skillful means and wisdom, manifested as the father and mother Hayagriva and Varahi. Especially, the Buddha Amitabha, Bestowed the four empowerments and requested blessings. Avalokiteshvara and Jetsun Tara, Prophesied encouragement, subdued demons, and made auspiciousness. Then, the wrathful Hayagriva father and mother, Subjugated Rudra with power and fierce actions.
