Homage to the Great Glorious Heruka! The sadhana of White Manjushri, the preliminary, main practice, and subsequent three stages, the preparation, practice, and pith instructions are shown. Samaya! Gya, Gya, Gya! Firstly, the ground should be blessed, delightful, with clear consciousness, and a place where white flowers grow, like a lotus garden with blooming lotuses. The practice room should also be white in color, and clothes and cushions should also be white. Meat, alcohol, garlic, etc., should be abandoned. One should not engage in sexual activity with women. If one is a monastic who upholds celibacy and the Vinaya, one should take the Uposatha vows when entering the sadhana. If one is a layperson, male or female, one should take the vows of a fasting retreat. Having entered the sadhana, until liberation, one should perform a five-limbed ablution each day. Other religious practices should be abandoned, and occasionally one should recite the Names and the Dharanis vowed by Manjushri. In the center part, draw a white lotus with eight petals, and make the lotus calyx green. Draw a blue circumference decorated with a garland of white flowers.
