For the sake of averting obstacles and practice, arising in the form of Mahakala, I prostrate and praise the Protector Father and Mother! Proud one accomplished from the world, listening to the command of the Protector and accomplishing activities, cutting off the wicked enemies and obstructors, Brahma, Yama, Tsen, and demons, I prostrate and praise the four great Ging! From the surroundings of the great charnel ground, a thousand black ones and a million flesh-eaters, a billion assemblies of Mamo and field protectors, to the ocean of oath-bound Dharma protectors, I offer praise with respectful mind! To urge and incite action, offering torma and golden drink, saying this: Hūṃ bhyo! Wisdom Protector Mahakala ya!
