The Lamp of Clearing Obstacles on the Path. The Lamp of Clearing Obstacles on the Path. From the Kagyu Dzogchen Three Roots Secret Heart Drop: The Lamp of Clearing Obstacles on the Path resides. I prostrate to the Three Roots. The meaning of the luminous meditation yogi of the Three Roots Secret Heart Drop. One secret instruction for clearing obstacles. I write it separately on yellow paper. May it meet with those who have karmic connections. Gya Gya Gya (རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:gya gya gya, seal seal seal). Furthermore, the luminous meditation yogi must be a person who possesses the qualities as described in the Dzogchen General Collection. It is not the domain of just anyone. Why? Because the result of this supremely secret dharma is that one can run to the Buddha's field by counting the years and months in this very life. It is different from other vehicles that require eons of cultivation to attain enlightenment. This swift path, the supreme instruction of luminosity, does not meet with people who lack fortune. Even if it does, they will not be able to practice it. Only a person who has perfected their cultivation from previous eons will encounter this profound vehicle and have the fortune to practice it. However, in the future, for those faithful who desire to attain Buddhahood, and for those individuals from lineages who are not very familiar with the Dharma, and for some who are of low intelligence and dull wisdom, even if they hear the view and meditation of the supreme Dharma, luminous Trekchö and Tögal, they will not generate realization in their minds, and those who have heard little and whose minds are ignorant. If they engage in the practice of luminous dark retreat, they will experience pain and groaning, and illnesses such as stiffness and fainting, and old illnesses will be triggered and worsened. The lama should repeatedly introduce the meaning of Trekchö and practice it. Allow the three doors to relax and warm them in the sun. Apply ointments to fainting illnesses that involve walking, and to cold and edema-like conditions. Also, for wind disorders, such as cold edema, perform fire gazing and the five-branch Tsa Lung Trulkhor exercises, sitting in a straight, upright posture, etc. For fainting, epilepsy, stiffness, etc., teach the wind essence Ha-blowing and small descending Trulkhor exercises, sitting in whatever posture is comfortable. Rely on medicinal oils, etc., and straighten and beat the wind channels. Bone broth mixed with tsampa.

For illnesses caused by so, yu, etc., and for diseases involving a mixture of wind, bile, and phlegm: The best method is to harmonize the tastes at the onset of the illness, blending them into the nature of reality to eliminate it. The intermediate method is to meditate on the lama wherever you are and to offer unwavering prayers to eliminate it. The lowest method is to administer appropriate medicinal compounds and beneficial actions. If you are drowsy and your mind is wild, calm your three doors. Shorten the meditation sessions and increase the number of sessions. If the body is heavy, the elements are disturbed, and the mind is dull, exhale three times. Wear thin clothing. Tighten the body like it is gilded with gold. If there is pain or tingling in the upper body, make a long "Hum" (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) sound and dispel it with "Has" (藏文:ཧས་,梵文天城体:हस्,梵文罗马拟音:has,汉语字面意思:Has). Bend and compress the upper body. If you have a headache, wrap and rotate your head. If there is pain in the middle of the body, hold your breath and exhale forcefully. If there is pain in the lower body, rotate and press. If there is swelling and agitation, rotate and compress the abdomen. Relax the lower gate and increase the frequency of small excretions. If bliss increases, visualize yourself as the powerful Hayagriva, engage in union with the consort Vajravarahi, clearly contemplate the assembly of bliss-emptiness wisdom, hold your breath, practice blazing and dripping, guide with "Hum" (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum), dispel with "Has" (藏文:ཧས་,梵文天城体:हस्,梵文罗马拟音:has,汉语字面意思:Has), strike down with "Phat" (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Phat), and finally practice the five limbs. If bindu drips, mix powdered dried sheep-eye flowers, everlasting grass, and red lotus with white sugar, and take some each time to eliminate it. If the dripping is caused by demons, mix juniper, disheveled hair, knife blood, and red lotus, and apply it to the tip of a vajra to surely eliminate it. When entering retreat, if many distracting thoughts arise, pray to the lama with one-pointed devotion. Strive to practice with strong vows. When the appearances of the bardo and the abodes of the six realms arise, if those with little learning and dull minds become frightened and terrified, clarify the body as empty like a deflated balloon, and the lama will appear as the object of appearance. Introduce all of this as emptiness beyond the mind. If attachment to the clear light of space-awareness arises, introduce it as the unborn self-display of Trekchö (藏文:ཁྲེགས་ཆོད), the spontaneously accomplished nature, the wisdom of the union of clarity and emptiness, free from extremes. If you are immersed only in the meditation of Trekchö (藏文:ཁྲེགས་ཆོད) Kadak (藏文:ཀ་དག) Great Perfection, fearing that you will not grasp the spontaneously accomplished clear light appearances, open a small window facing east, look at the sunlight, and focus on the ocean. Shorten the meditation sessions.
