The root text of the mudras of the Eight Auspicious Symbols: The left hand forms a fist, The thumb is raised, and the palm of the right hand covers it, which is the umbrella. With both hands, the thumbs press down the ring and little fingers, The middle fingers wrap around the back of the index fingers, and the tips meet, which are the golden fish. The wrists of the right and left hands are joined, The fingers are raised upwards and opened, like a lotus. On the surface of the outstretched left hand, the fingers of the right hand are slightly bent inwards and joined, which is the conch shell.
