It is said that all meditations must be preceded by a view that is free from dualistic clinging, and that it must be followed by it. As stated in the Compendium of Trainings: "The merit generated by emptiness with the essence of compassion will be purified." The so-called "Union of the Two Accumulations of the Middle Way" or "Union of Method and Wisdom" also means that view and meditation must be combined. As stated in the Vajra Tent Tantra: "First, contemplate emptiness, wash away the defilements of sentient beings. On the field of emptiness of body and so on, the wise should plant the seeds." Also, as stated in the Two Examinations Tantra: "All that is completely transformed in the three realms, abandon the grasped and the grasper. Or, by all means, examine the nature of things." In addition, in the treatises of Lamdre, it is mentioned that after empowerment, before immediately meditating on the two stages, one must first have the view of non-differentiation between samsara and nirvana. Therefore, in the commentaries on the sutras and tantras or in reliable treatises, it has been repeatedly mentioned how to seek meditation from the state of view, and how to consolidate meditation with view, so view and meditation must be consistent. The difference between distinguishing these two is that view is directed towards the non-duality of ultimate truth, while meditation is directed towards the conceptual elaborations of conventional truth. Please understand this distinction. The third question is, in the new tantras, the aggregates and elements are said to be deities, is this a determination of the true nature of things by wisdom, or a temporary manifestation through meditation of things that are not actually so, or is it an explanation of the object of purification, the method of purification, and the combination of base, path, and result? The answer is that in the Anuttarayoga Tantras, the aggregates and elements are said to be deities, as stated in the Two Examinations Tantra: "It must be said that the purity of all things is suchness. Then, from the external distinctions of each, describe the deities." That is, in the non-duality of ultimate truth, there is no distinction between whether deities exist or not, while in conventional truth, the aggregates and elements are visualized as deities. In addition, the statement by other schools that the environment and beings are deities refers to the ultimate truth of the perfectly established reality. Also, some scholars believe that it refers to the nature of self-purification, but these views contradict the scriptures and reasoning, and are therefore not accepted. The views of the omniscient Dharma Lord and other Sakya scholars and accomplished masters are as follows: the state of not being examined and analyzed, the state of analyzing nominal concepts, and the state of analyzing ultimate truth.

Among the three, explaining the outer environment and inner beings, or phenomenal existence, as deities is in the context of linguistic analysis. That is also for individuals with sharp faculties who have entered the path of highest yoga tantra, and in the practice of secret mantra by yogis who have matured their minds through empowerment, such is acknowledged as valid in their field of experience. The fourth question: when explaining the oral instructions of Lamdre, is the tenet of the vase empowerment, which states that samsara and nirvana are inseparable, the same as what is said in the causal vehicle, where both samsara and nirvana are equally emptiness, free from elaboration? Or is there something else to explain? Also, in the view of intrinsic nature, what is the basis for identifying the intrinsic nature of the aspect of appearance? The answer is that the view of inseparable samsara and nirvana explained in the Lamdre teachings is called the view of the causal time, which emphasizes focusing on the mind from the two, body and mind, and meditating on it, which is in accordance with the view of Madhyamaka. In the "Two Examinations" it says: "This itself is called samsara, this itself is nirvana. Having abandoned samsara, in another place, nirvana cannot be realized. Samsara is form and sound, etc., samsara is feeling, etc., samsara is the senses themselves, samsara is anger, etc. These dharmas are nirvana. For the sake of realization, the form body of samsara, with the pure samsara free from delusion, samsara becomes nirvana. Bodhicitta itself is nirvana, it is the nature of conventional and ultimate truth." And so on, as it is said in the manner of briefly indicating and extensively explaining, relying on the profound oral instructions of the Lord of Yoga, that is, briefly indicating with the three co-emergent dharmas. Explaining extensively with the three key points of practice. Through the gateway of the three continuums, it is extremely extensively explained, and by practicing with the instructions of the holy guru, in the manner of alternating examination, settling, and cultivation, realization will quickly arise, and the blessing of the empowerment associated with mantra is great, surpassing the view explained in the treatises of the Paramita Vehicle. In the Paramita Vehicle, there is also an explanation of the equality of samsara and nirvana, free from elaboration, and the direct realization of that is a special characteristic of the three pure grounds. The realization of the equality of existence and peace, etc., is what is said in the context of the three pure grounds. The three aspects of the view of intrinsic nature are the three of appearance and emptiness, duality, each of which is established separately, that is, for each one, there is a subject, a nature, one essence and different aspects.
