Since conditions such as pustules do not arise in any way, the body follows the mind and is completely controlled by the mind. The sutra says, 'Good man, if consciousness does not enter the womb, it will not turn into pustules, etc., from the impure substances of the parents.' Furthermore, if the mind is harmed, the body will also be harmed; if the mind is happy, the body will also become very happy, so the body follows the mind. If separated from the mind, the body will become insensible and rot, therefore it is controlled by the mind, so actions are the fruit of the mind. 'Because it is the master.' This means that the mind is the master of actions, so it is the fruit of the mind. How does it become the master? The Blessed One said, 'This world is led by the mind, drawn by the mind.' This means that whatever the mind thinks, the body follows, so it is led and drawn by the mind. If greed arises in the mind, the body will also follow, and behavior will become frivolous or arrogant, with a smiling face and laughter, etc., the appearance will change. If hatred arises, there will be actions such as glaring, a frowning face, clenching fists, etc., so the mind is the master and controller of actions. Also, the second reason in the scripture is: The Tathagata said that consciousness is the condition for name and form. If there is no consciousness, there will be no state of name and form, and without it, there will be no six sense bases, etc. 'Purity' refers to following the pure mind, that is, by the power of the pure mind of yogis, if they think of earth as gold, the earth will appear as gold, etc., just as they think, by the power of samadhi, it will transform into various forms. The sutra also extensively says, 'A monk who has attained meditation,' etc. Therefore, actions are the fruit of the mind. 'Because sentient beings follow actions' means that the minds of sentient beings accumulate good and bad karma, thereby manifesting various worlds. Actions are the mind of sentient beings.

Subsequently, the crops of sentient beings who commit evil deeds have weak color, smell, taste, and other powers, and things like gold appear as coal and the like. Due to the power of the minds of those who do good deeds, grains and the like are rich in color, smell, and taste, and bad things appear as jewels and the like, so actions are clearly the fruit of the mind. Therefore, since the cause, the mind, is momentary, the results, which are actions, cannot be permanent and should be known as momentary. Up to this point, without separating internal and external objects, it has been generally shown in two verses that all conditioned phenomena are momentary and impermanent. Secondly, there are two parts: showing that internal conditioned phenomena are impermanent and that external conditioned phenomena are impermanent. First, in five verses, it is proven that all internal conditioned phenomena, including the mind and mental factors together with the body, are momentary and impermanent. First is birth, and then gradual growth, etc. There are fourteen types of birth. The reasons or valid cognitions for proving that they are momentary are: differences in cause and degree, etc., up to the fourteen that follow the mind, proving that all internal conditioned phenomena are momentary. Among them, the very first birth is: when the consciousness belonging to death ceases, and consciousness enters the mother's womb and becomes unconscious together with sperm and blood, it is the first moment of connection to birth itself. Thus, the cessation of the consciousness belonging to death and the arising of the consciousness belonging to birth occur like the rise and fall of a balance scale, therefore it is momentary. Gradual growth is: from the second moment onwards when consciousness enters the womb in the first moment, in a sequence of moments, from soft, tender, to hard states, etc., gradually growing, that is, abandoning the previous state and gradually changing in different forms moment by moment. Growth, the so-called growth of birth, is the four causes of bodily growth, namely food, sleep, good deeds, and samadhi. In the desire realm there are the first three, and in the form realm there is samadhi, which make
