From the unbearable suffering of samsara, The Lama, Yidam, Dakini who offer refuge, And all the Buddhas, Dharma assemblies, and oath-bound ones, I and all beings respectfully take refuge. The unerring guide on the path, the very essence of all the Victorious Ones, I take refuge in the Lamas and Vidyadharas. Possessing the nature of the four kayas and five wisdoms, I take refuge in the Buddhas of the ten directions. The supreme teachings that guide the three vehicles, the excellent teachings free from attachment, I take refuge in the scriptural and realized Dharma. The supreme assembly abiding on the grounds and paths, I take refuge in the noble Sangha. Bestow all supreme and common siddhis, I take refuge in the Yidam deity assembly. Dispersing all obstacles and accomplishing activities, I take refuge in the Dakinis and Dharma protectors. From this day until enlightenment is attained, For me and all sentient beings of the three realms, There is no other refuge or reliance, Please protect us with your great compassion. For the sake of liberating beings, my parents, from the ocean of suffering in the three realms of samsara, With compassion, I generate the supreme bodhichitta, Liberating beings who have not been liberated, freeing those who have not been freed. Bringing them to bliss and rejoicing in nirvana, With this bodhichitta, may all limitless beings, Engage in the path of happiness and virtuous actions, And may the suffering and non-virtuous actions be 끊임없이 끊어지게 하소서, May they be free from all suffering and possess happiness, May they abide in the state of equality and wisdom.
