When experiences arise, discrimination arises in the mind. This is distinguishing within samsara. Again, visualize the postures of peaceful and wrathful deities, as well as the sounds of the Dharma and various fierce laughter, and then keep the body upright. Observe the nature of the mind and rest naturally and relaxed. After distinguishing externally in this way, the second step is to make internal distinctions. As it says in "After Death": "The body is produced by the cause of ignorance, therefore the seeds of the six realms reside within. Awareness is the reality of the three bodies, therefore the three bodies manifest as three letters. Distinguish through practicing the letters." And as it says in "Vast Clarity": "In order to exhaust the cause of internal delusion, distinguish samsara and nirvana internally." Therefore, the six seeds of the six realms that need to be purified are these six. The way these six reside is as it says in "Vast Clarity": "Crown, throat, heart, navel, secret place, and soles of the feet, reside A, Su, Nri, Tri, Pre, Du." Therefore, in the normal state, in the crown of the head is the white seed syllable A of the god realm; in the back of the throat, in the root like the wing of a bat, is the yellowish-green seed syllable Su of the Asura realm; in the life-pulse of the heart is the bluish-green seed syllable Nri of the human realm; in the root of the navel, in what is like a taut rope, is the reddish-black seed syllable Tri of the animal realm; in the secret place is the greenish-black seed syllable Pre of the hungry ghost realm; in the coiled veins of the soles of the feet is the smoky seed syllable Du of the hell realm. When one dies, the breath and consciousness of the body gather in those parts, and one is immediately born into those realms. Therefore, purification is very important. Below the six seed syllables, visualize a red Ram syllable with the nature of fire; below each Ram syllable, visualize a green Yam syllable with the nature of wind. Then, verbally recite: Om Ah Hum, Nara Ka, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Through recitation, wind arises from the Yam syllable, striking the Ram syllable, the fire blazes, and visualize the smoky color being burned into nothingness. Similarly, Om Ah Hum, Preta Ka, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Burn Pre with wind and fire; Om Ah Hum, Tiryak Ka, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Burn Tri with wind and fire; Om Ah Hum, Dukha, Trisha Ni, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Burn Nri with wind and fire; Om Ah Hum, Asura, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Burn Su with wind and fire; Om Ah Hum, Deva, Sarva, Papam, Bi Shudhaye, Svaha. Through wind and fire

Burn with fire. Again, visualize white Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) at the crown of your head, red Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) at your throat, and blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at your heart. From that, a stream of nectar descends, purifying the places of the six syllables. Visualize that all the birthplaces of the six realms of samsara are empty, and then chant loudly or silently recite the three syllables, reciting seven hundred thousand times. In this way, until various signs of the elimination of sins and the purification of the clinging of the three doors appear, like a clear crystal ball, you must strive. The necessity is: In "Complete Transformation" it says: The two views of clear light awareness are shown by the distinction of common and supreme. Also, in "Vast Clarity" it says: The preliminary practices of body, speech, and mind, should be known to have three necessities: common, special, and ultimate. Therefore, the seeds of sins of body, speech, and mind, and their obstacles, and the seeds of clinging to them, are eradicated and pacified from the root, which is the common necessity. The clinging of body, speech, and mind is reversed, so that from now on, there is no turning back in samsara, which is the special necessity. Body, speech, and mind are liberated into the three kayas, which is the ultimate necessity. Third, in the actual preliminary practice, there are three: abiding, restoring, and the yoga of the three doors. First, abiding is: In the blazing of the lamp, after distinguishing the boundaries of samsara and nirvana, the body and speech abide. Also, in "Complete Transformation" it says: At this time, the key points of body, speech, and mind, are abided by those who possess yoga. Therefore, through the above preliminary practices, the elements are disturbed and tired, and the body moves on a comfortable bed, and speech speaks, and the mind thinks, do nothing, but relax and abide in its natural state. Second, restoring is: In "Vast Clarity" it says: In order to realize the meaning of primordial purity, after abiding, also restore. Also, in "After Passing" it says: The Shravakas, Bodhisattvas, and Wrathful Ones, restore with their respective postures. Therefore, after the three are restored, they will strive in practice. Therefore, the body possesses the seven dharmas of Vairochana, and the gaze is lowered to the ground. The eyes should be looked at half-closed. This destroys subtle conceptual thoughts, which is the posture of the Shravakas. The body maintains its key points, and the eyes naturally look at the space, destroying coarse conceptual thoughts, which is the posture of the Bodhisattvas. The body maintains its original key points, or in a playful posture, or standing,
