Always guard and abandon actions of body, speech, and mind. 12 For example, just as whatever seed is planted in the field of a corpse grows, all happiness comes from virtuous actions, and suffering arises from non-virtuous actions. 13 Therefore, even small sins should be guarded with effort as if protecting one's life, and even if virtue is difficult, do as much as you can, carefully adopting and abandoning. 14 Wherever the path of virtuous actions is practiced, in this very world, the happiness and glory of a golden age will arise, so the Buddhas have praised. 15 Therefore, the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, as well as parents, elders of ascetic lineages, etc., should be respectfully served and honored. 16 To the sick, the poor, and suffering beings, with a good intention to benefit them, help them as much as you can. 17 Writing letters, making offerings, giving alms, listening, reading, memorizing, and meditating on them, explaining, reciting, these ten practices of Dharma, because they are sources of merit, should be practiced. 18 Prostration, making offerings, confessing sins, rejoicing in the virtues of oneself and others, etc., the seven-limbed practice of those who desire liberation, should be diligently done. 19 Those who seek benefits in this life will lose the share of eternal aspirations, therefore, aiming for lasting happiness, practice the Dharma from the heart. 20 Just as life is like a lamp, although it is being consumed, due to sudden circumstances, one may die even in an instant, so strive with diligence without clinging to permanence. 21 Since all beings have the essence of the Sugata, do not despise anyone, and to show the various behaviors of the noble ones, be skilled in means. 22 Do not despise others out of pride because you are of noble birth, beautiful, young, or intelligent and wise, qualities are obtained from taming the mind. 23 To be liberated from suffering and its causes, with faith, make the root very firm, because all virtuous Dharmas arise from this. 24 A spiritual friend who has pure morality, has heard much, has mastery of samadhi, and is compassionate, should be respectfully served and honored like a Buddha. 25 From him, receive the nectar of the Dharma of the Vinaya, Bodhisattva, and Vidyadhara pitakas, which are appropriate to your own capacity. 26 And that, not with arrogance, desire, desire for fame, and competitive mind, but for the benefit of oneself and others.

Also happiness, only seeking liberation. 27. Explain the meaning of the sutras and tantras, and be able to examine them with reason and scripture. May you reach the other shore of hearing without being satisfied with all the scriptures. 28. Abandoning the seven sins, keeping pure precepts, generating altruistic bodhicitta, and increasing the purity of vessels and essences, these three are the essence of practice. 29. Emptiness and great compassion are the root of all dharmas. Therefore, for all those who desire liberation, there is no other essence of practice. 30. Attachment to self-grasping binds to samsara, and realizing selflessness liberates from it. The so-called "this" person is unattainable, and likewise, all dharmas have no self-nature. 31. Since all dharmas have no self-nature, all causes and effects appear unceasingly. This is the established path of the Buddha's teachings. 32. Therefore, all dharmas of samsara and nirvana are inherently pure and free from elaboration. The body, wisdom, and all qualities are completely perfect, and are the pinnacle of the nine vehicles. 33. Before gaining stability in it, gather the key points of practice, and gradually learn to gain familiarity with the path. 34. Once stability is gained, everything is naturally liberated. Therefore, the order of the path is not fixed, and the behavior of accomplished ones is also in this context. 35. After one's own realization manifests, only in a pure assembly of disciples, when nakedly revealing the true nature, there is no need to consider body, speech, and behavior. 36. Before gaining confidence in realization, when nurturing various assemblies of disciples, behavior should be virtuous, speech should be restrained, intention should be virtuous, and behavior should be strict. 37. When benefiting beings, equally gather them with the four means of attraction, and with skillful means, lead all those who are connected to the right path, and make sure that everything is meaningful. 38. Since all vehicles are true in their own place, it is not appropriate to revile and speak harshly due to sectarian bias, because the sutras say that this is a very serious sin. 39. When relying on a solitary place, do not be attached to the pleasures and idle talk of this life, but integrate the practice of the profound path with the Dharma and one's own mind. 40. When cultivating experience and realization, do not defile all actions with the eight worldly concerns, but cultivate self-arising and self-liberation in the unchanging true nature. 41. To the best of one's ability, with material things, new
