After exile, I vowed not to seek many new acquaintances, to cultivate pure perception of all my own and others' schools of thought and spiritual mentors as much as possible, not to engage in sectarian bias and hatred, and not to be too attached to the appearances of this life. I abandon partiality towards monks and patrons, stay on the Middle Way, and do not engage in many activities such as divination and explaining the four classes of vows for the sake of selfish individuals and petty gains. Regarding school discipline, etc., related to the general Sangha, although it is difficult to contribute due to my lack of ability, I encourage all beings with good intentions and do my best. I clearly know where the dedications and offerings from home and abroad go, and I give help with a pure heart, avoiding the great fault of becoming lazy and incurring heavy debts. By doing so, from around the Wood Dog year, extra necessities have been gathered effortlessly. This is not the deception of the son of the gods, but the result of the grace of the Three Jewels, and it seems fulfilling. How to put what has been heard into practice.
