Surrounded by the four great oceans, on the vast earth, the precious crown that bestows the power of dominion, when bound, the light of my far-reaching fame, like the blazing sun in the sky, eclipses the bright moon. Thereafter, during the enthronement, the Dongchok empowerment was bestowed upon the reincarnation of Dorje Drak Monastery and the reincarnation of Gungtang; the empowerment and transmission of the liberation from samsara into the sphere of reality was bestowed upon the reincarnation of Trewo; the empowerment and transmission of the new treasure of the Iron Cliff Treasure of the Sky was bestowed upon the reincarnation of the heart-son; and the longevity empowerment, etc., was bestowed upon Yarlung Tripön Lingpa. To the many lamas, khenpos, depön, drungkhors, etc., who came to offer the throne, Dharma connections that fulfilled their respective wishes and the ritual of establishing a foundation were bestowed. Ya Sang Tsenma. Gyaton Osel Rangdrol bestowed the empowerment of peaceful and wrathful manifestations and longevity. Urged by the above transmission, Chöje Neshiwa was granted the empowerment of the Lama Sangdü. Zur Kunga Rigdzin was granted the empowerment of illusory longevity. Se Trak Zangpo was granted the empowerment and transmission of Hayagriva, the subduer of arrogance. Dowo Chepa Könchok Lhündrup received some transmissions of subtle illusory practices. On the first day of the seventh month, as an initial gift for the Regent's ascension to the throne, a khatag Kunsangma, a complete set of robes including a portrait of fine silk brocade, five gold srangs, six sets of exquisite tea sets, and an old carpet were presented as generous offerings. Thereafter, in the Guru Rinchen, after completing a week-long Torma Repelling Ritual of the Destroyer, the four-armed form was bestowed upon Trewo Tulku, the mantra protectors of the Northern Treasures and New Treasures, the empowerment of the field protectors, and the transmissions of the wrathful red practices of the New Treasures and the Great Perfection. He also received the transmission of the Hundred Teachings. Furthermore, many beings, including Taklung Chakdzo and the great practitioners of Lhasa, were given empowerments and blessings such as longevity, Hayagriva, and Guru Drak, as well as immeasurable dedications for the deceased and the living. After a four-day retreat, performing the vase practice, curses were liberated at the feet of the Guru. The next day, curses were liberated in the Guru's chambers for the son of the great nobleman. Then, he went to Norbulingka for bathing, and bestowed empowerments and transmissions upon Trewo Tulku, Gangteng Zimpon, and many others. Again, at the feet of the Guru at the summit, the Lama Kadü of Dorje Lingpa, the Secret Assembly, the Great Compassionate Gyalwa Gyatso, and the empowerment transmissions of Ngesong Kunjyob were offered, and Neserwo Rinpoche also attended as a servant for some empowerments such as Gyalwa Gyatso. Thereafter, in the Guru Rinchen, about fifteen attendant monks performed a week-long longevity practice, and at the feet of the Guru, the empowerment instructions of Amitayus and Guru Drak, death ransom, liberation of curses and demons, liberation of Naga demons, and many other rituals were performed. Also, in the rituals for the estate officials, death ransom, demon liberation, and so on were performed. Many great practitioners in Lhasa, such as Changling, Zhika Shar, and Lukhangpa, invited him and bestowed empowerments such as longevity, Hayagriva, and Guru Drak.
