The omens of departure and other signs were good, and the health of those above and below felt inexplicably refreshed. At the beginning of the fifth month, in Lhasa, he performed rituals for the benefactress, mother and son, to dispel evil spirits, performed ablutions, and gave long-life empowerments. On the third day, when he went to the new Lhasa monastery, it is said that he suddenly felt dizzy and had a vision of a radiant Indian siddha. At Ganden Khangsar, when he performed ablutions and empowerments from Takru and other places, it is said that his eyes were very stern, and he passed away not long after. He went to the Potala Palace again, and in the Kanjur Chamber, he consecrated many statues of Buddha Lhawang and Orgyen, and performed many rituals such as exorcism for those above and below. He received the great blessing of the Great Dakini and the empowerment of A Hum Ma (藏文:ཨ་ཧཱུྃ་མ།) from Lord Tenzin Chodwang. He also helped him with lawsuits and requests for documents. At that time, the master said, "The great empowerment of the Dakini has descended upon me." When his younger brother Gyalsay Rinpoche asked him what was going on, he said, "When I went to Smrabo Lcogo earlier, the great Lord Master, in the appearance of an old man with disheveled hair, completely bestowed all the Dakini's secrets." Therefore, the previous transmission and the current empowerments, which I have diligently listened to, are actually only for the purpose of avoiding bad behavior. Then, at the beginning of the sixth Tibetan month, he offered the great blessing of the Dakini to those above and below, as well as the empowerment series of Yangdzong Nyingthig, and the practice transmission and empowerment of Machig Labdrön's Chöd. In addition, he performed the root empowerment of Rigdzin Sogdrub and the essence of the Red Long Life Empowerment for the great assembly of the monastic community. After that, he gave the empowerment transmission of the newly revealed Yama Dharmaraja to about eighty monks. He bestowed the empowerment of Thug Thig, the essence of Dzogchen Nyingpo, Vajrasattva Nyingthig, and the transmission of the Lotus Light Clear Vision to Geshe Jamyang Drakpa. He gave experiential guidance on the transference of consciousness (འཕོ་བ་འཇག་ཚུགས་མ།) to many monks. The master performed the empowerment transmission of the Vajrapani Ear-Lineage for about thirty monks of the monastery, including Pabongkhapa and the Great Abbot. Pabongkhapa offered amulets engraved with wealth-attracting symbols, salabras, tea, silk, and many other offerings.

Extensive offerings were made. In Lhasa, he performed the longevity empowerment for the mistress, and later in Shigatse, from the superiors to the subordinates, he bestowed staffs, robes, silver pots, many layers of silk clothing inside and out, tea, and other extensive gifts. Before departing, he paid respects to the superiors and subordinates. Following the instructions of the superiors, he traveled by Norbu Gephel's boat to Thubten Dorje Drak, where he listened to the complete empowerment of the Gathering Sutra, the Poison Blood Vase Iron Mother, and the instructions on the Lama's Three Bodies in the presence of Rigzin Tulku Rinpoche. Afterwards, he offered the deity empowerment of the Padling Drakmar Themme. There, he focused solely on receiving the authentic empowerment dharma lineage of Jangchub Lingpa from Khenpo Peljorwa, and listened according to the orders of the superiors. Then, on the way to Drak Yangdzong, he inspected the sites of the tantric monasteries. On the evening of the twenty-fifth, he held a hundred-offering ceremony in Yangdzong. At that time, in the vision of clear light, there appeared a long-haired, gray-haired tantrika, a tall woman dressed in Monpa clothing, and an acharya dressed in monastic robes. They gave many prophecies, including the seven auspicious signs related to the profound key points of the revealed outer treasures, and the special prophecies of Chung Gyalsay Rinpoche. The next morning, he passed through the Yaga post station and went to Sangyul Drongsar. He stayed there for a month, giving instructions on the Thuk Thig to Yangri Geshe Lhaksam and Khampa Druk Rigzin, empowerment and transmission of the Thuk Thig to Bhaga Sangngak Cholingpa and many other Khampas, and Dharma connections to many Monpas, including the offerings brought by the incarnation of Chöje from Mon. In August, he passed through Shar Tsam Drada and held a Dharma assembly in Darling. Gungthang Lotsawa Geshe Namgyal came to pay his respects, and they had many Dharma discussions. The abbot of Darling Monastery, Chak Jangchub Lingpa, and Peljor Chödingpa offered long-life prayers, and the Mindrolling community offered an extensive long-life prayer in the form of the Immortal Essence Kun Du. Afterwards, he gave the empowerment and transmission of the Thuk Thig to about twenty Dharma seekers from the Mon and Lato regions. The Mindrolling Sangha, led by Chung Gyalsay Rinpoche, received the empowerment and subsequent permission of the Cycle of Liberation from Samsara and the Dharma Protectors.
