Like the tradition of holding regular dharma festivals, the establishment of an unbroken lineage of the teachings at Orgyen Mindrolling Monastery, and so on. In short, the mother herself was accustomed to giving, and in order to comply with the wishes of this Rinpoche, she strived to fulfill his intentions with an attitude of giving away everything she had. In particular, this Rinpoche, with his great activities of teaching and practice, which were extremely pure in compassion and action, made the precious teachings of the Nyingma school like the rising sun, thereby fulfilling the special wishes of that Rinpoche who had passed into the realm of great peace. Moreover, from the age of five or six, this Rinpoche relied on the incomparable Vajrayana master, his father Rigzin Chenpo, as his crown guru until he passed away into nirvana, and studied and practiced extensively. Not only have these been mentioned in the respective appropriate circumstances in the past, but he has also heard many others, such as the Upper and Lower Treasure Troves, the Twelve Lingpas, the Three Vimalas, Nubchung, Drapa, Rakshaga, Karma Lingpa, Manjushri Vajra, Sangpo Drakpa, Godem, Tseten Gyaltsen, Pema Wangyal, Rinchen Phuntsok, Sherab Ozer, Wangpo's De, Jachung Nyingpo, and so on, the treasure teachings of nearly a hundred treasure revealers, i.e., the treasure teachings; the empowerment of Dongtrul and the collection of tantras, i.e., the Kama teachings; the Chod Yul Lojong, the Mahamudra Lhenkye, and other new teachings; in addition, there are many minor transmissions of sutras and tantras, in short, the hearing of teachings that rely on empowerment, subsequent permission, explanation, transmission, oral instructions, practice, and minor practices is inconceivable, because it is impossible to describe everything, so it should be known from the hearing record. Your vast mind is like a treasury of the gods, filled with inexhaustible wish-fulfilling jewels of the Buddha's teachings. Because you are skilled at putting everything into it and giving it to beings, it is a special medicine for the minds of those who are poor and desire liberation. The vast ocean of hearing teachings, whose end cannot be seen, the profound and essential instructions are unfathomable, and the waves of blessings and realization are surging, pacifying all the heat and suffering of the beings of the three realms. You draw all the essence of the Dharma from the ocean of Dharma of the holy gurus with the wisdom of discernment, and bestow the inexhaustible rain of nectar Dharma upon the fortunate ones, yet you never seem to be satisfied.

How wonderful is this practice of hearing, thinking, and meditating! Then, on an auspicious day with favorable astrological conjunctions, when he ascended the great Dharma throne of Dargyé Chöling Monastery, the incarnate form of the heart-son scattered flowers of auspiciousness. Simultaneously, gifts of nine kinds, led by Jur Ber, were offered, and the monastic community and patrons made extensive offerings. Before long, he traveled to Tsang Bonpo with the precious heart-son. There, he perfectly received the Five Treatises of Maitreya from Kunkhyen Tsultrim Dorje. Furthermore, he received as public teachings the empowerment associated with the Seven Lifetimes Great Accomplishment of Pema Lingpa's Great Compassionate One, the condensed empowerment of the Jewel Ocean, and the transmissions of the Gyalsé Kabum. Together with a small group of monks and Dharma students, he received the empowerment and transmission of the Kagyé Rangjung Rangshar, and the life entrustments related to the Dharma protectors solely from the master himself. He also wished to study grammar and poetics with the Speech Incarnate Rinpoche, and although the monastery had previously requested this, he was given a dismissive response, saying that he was too old and that it would take a lifetime to learn grammar and poetics, and so he did not grant it, saying that he wondered if he should have requested it at that time, but he did not dare to ask. He received the Seven Treasures and the Three Cycles of Rest, etc., from the incarnate heart-son, Tenzin Gyurme, and also received the empowerment and transmission of the Khandro Nyingthig from Khedrup Tsultrim Gyaltsen. At this time, about five or six Dharma students from various regions relied on this master without arrogance. On the return journey, he passed through Nyemo and Rongchung, and in Chushur, his uncle Sö Rabpa served him, and he stayed for three days. Then, he made a boat across the Yarkha River and went to the monastery, where he stayed in retreat in the clear light chamber for three months, performing the recitation practice of the fierce red deity, and signs manifested. After the retreat, the Tripön Ngagchang Chenpo from Nakartse came to meet him. He bestowed the transmission of Pema Lingpa's Nor Gyam upon Lama Tsaluwa, and the transmission of Pema Lingpa's scattered terma teachings upon Chöjé Lingpa Lochhen. Knowing that the lineage he had received from his father was pure, he later bestowed upon this lama the great empowerment of the Gathering of Sutras, including both the Kham and Zur traditions.
