I. This teacher has protected the sacred Dharma in every way, through listening and explaining, meditation, building temples, providing for the Sangha, performing deeds for non-humans, refuting heretics, and so on, his kindness is unparalleled. His age is nearly six hundred years, just one year short, and there are also two views that differ by twenty-nine years. In any case, it is said that he stayed in the central region for two hundred years, in the south for two hundred years, and on the Auspicious Mountain for over a hundred years. The Panditas believe that half a year is counted as a year. Having achieved the extraction of essence, the color of his skin became like that of a jewel, and his body was adorned with the thirty-two marks. This teacher's friend, a Brahmin named Supreme Desire (Kamadeva), was serving as an advisor to King Sukhananda. He practiced Avalokiteśvara for twelve years and offered a fire puja with four million gold coins. Avalokiteśvara appeared to him, and he requested the dispatch of Mahakala for accomplishment. Avalokiteśvara granted his request, and because he had accomplished the vidya-mantra, he was able to effortlessly achieve any desired result. King Sukhananda wanted to study grammar, but he could not find a teacher who was completely proficient in Pāṇini's grammar. It is said that in the land of the Nagas, there was a Naga king named Sheṇa, who was proficient in all of Pāṇini's grammar. So, he invited him by trickery, and began to record all the contents of Pāṇini's grammar, which he had extensively explained with one hundred thousand verses (śloka), into the teacher's writing. They wrote with a curtain separating them. When twenty-five thousand verses had been written, the teacher wondered, "What does his body look like?" So, he lifted the curtain and saw a huge snake coiling. The Naga was ashamed and fled. From then on, the teacher himself made the commentary. The combination of these two is known as the grammar taught by the Naga. There, he taught many fields of knowledge, including grammar, and finally Mahakala carried him on his shoulders and departed to the place where all things converge at the summit of Mount Meru. King Sukhananda did not trust the commentary made by the Brahmin Supreme Desire, so he had the Brahmin Saptavarma practice the six-faced Kumara. When he had achieved it, he was asked what he desired, and he said, "I want to know the Indra grammar." Then Saptavarma said: Saptavarma samasnaya.

Thus, he knew all the meanings of the words. According to the history circulating in Tibet, all the explanations of Kalapa up to the fourth part were spoken by the six-faced youth. It is said that "Kalapa" means collection, like the collection of various colors on a peacock's tail feathers. But here, it is not circulated in that way, but it is said that Kalapa was written by Sapta Varma himself, and the meaning of collection is the collection of the necessary parts. At that time, King Hari Chandara, along with his entourage, transformed into a rainbow body, so there was no lineage. It was the time when his nephew Ashachandra and his son Jaya Chandra ruled the kingdom. These two only worshiped the sacred Dharma, and there is no legend of making significant contributions to the Dharma. Later, in the south, King Hari Chandara appeared with a thousand entourages and attained the Siddhi of Rilu. That time was also the first time that the heretical Dharma appeared. Although it was heard that there were many who held the Tripitaka, a youth group called Unbelieving Youth appeared. They behaved improperly and were expelled by the Sangha, so they were very angry and thought: I will create a religion that can compete with Buddhism. So he went to another place and changed his name to Mamata. After changing his attire, he created the heretical Dharma that speaks of harm as doctrine, and the heretical caste hid and entrusted the great demon Vishlima Vishlima) somewhere. At that time, a daughter of the Brahmin caste picked many flowers and piled them up, both to offer to the gods and to sell. Once, a cat appeared from the middle of the flower pile, merged into her body, and she became pregnant. In due time, she gave birth to a strong boy, who grew up to be arrogant to everyone. One day, he received a prophecy from a demon in his dream: Find the previously hidden scriptures and believe in them. He thought: Who will teach this? At this time, the demon prophesied: Meeting Mamata himself will enable you to receive the teachings and also accomplish the Vidyā-mantras. Finally, with a thousand entourages, he preached the doctrine to the Brahmins and royalty, and it is said that this was the first time that people who believed in the heretical Dharma appeared. King Ashachandra and Jaya Chandra are among the seven Chandras, Jaya Chandra's son is Nem Chandra, his son is Pana Chandra, and his son is Bhamsa Chandra.
