To accomplish the purpose of benefiting others, without being moved or shaken by sins, afflictions, worldly thoughts, Hinayana (小乘, xiǎo shèng, Lesser Vehicle) views, and clinging to substantiality, one must single-mindedly strive to achieve omniscience. The vajra-like (金刚, Jīngāng) Bodhicitta (菩提心, Pútíxīn, mind of enlightenment) is to cultivate the mind of enlightenment from now until Buddhahood is attained, without being interrupted by any conceptual thoughts. This requires the inseparability of skillful means and wisdom; by cultivating one, the other two naturally arise, so cultivate the union. Upon attaining Buddhahood, the extent of the qualities and pure lands depends on the differences in present power, aspirations, and vows. The extent of loving-kindness now will determine how many beings can be tamed in the future. Therefore, generate the mind of enlightenment like an illusionary being, practice austerities, and learn the path, just as one becomes enlightened in the sky and then liberates sentient beings from samsara (轮回, Lúnhuí, cycle of rebirth) through emanations. This is like the sky taking the sky as its object. Therefore, having decided in a sky-like state, knowing that everything is an illusionary manifestation, cultivate the unobstructed skill, and train the great mind of enlightenment. Accumulating the two accumulations like illusions is the union. When the meaning dawns within, one will not fall into samsara, nor will one long for nirvana (涅槃, Nièpán, cessation of suffering), but one will attain a certain state. At that time, one will be free from hope and fear. Realizing the Dharmakaya (法身, Fǎshēn, body of truth), even if one goes to Avici hell (无间地狱, Wújiàn dìyù, uninterrupted hell), it will appear as Sukhavati (极乐净土, Jílè jìngtǔ, pure land of bliss). Realizing that samsara and nirvana are inseparable, one will be free from the mind of acceptance and rejection. Realizing that Buddhas and sentient beings are inseparable, one will pacify the clinging to good and bad. Realizing that all dharmas (法, Fǎ, teachings) are equal, one will be free from the bias of holding onto high and low. Before reaching that point, one must reach the state of Nagarjuna (龙树, Lóngshù). If one wishes to learn such a Dharma, one must accumulate merit through preparatory practices, train the mind through contemplation, take devotion as the object of practice, enter through attachment, and not be deceived through connection; gradually, one will realize it. Then, in order not to forget the mind of enlightenment in all lifetimes, one must learn to abandon the four black dharmas and practice the four white dharmas. In order never to abandon sentient beings, one must train the mind and learn to abandon the four causes of abandoning sentient beings. These four causes are: if one thinks that one cannot benefit so many sentient beings, then the more sentient beings there are, the more the mind of enlightenment should grow. The method of abandoning evil deeds is: even if the body cannot help others, one must steadfastly focus on the mind. Abandoning attachment to samsara by seeing the sights of samsara: the more suffering there is, the more one must liberate them. Abandoning attachment to substantiality by seeing emptiness: if one does not understand that all dharmas are like emptiness, but instead clings to substantiality, suffering will diminish. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When experiencing suffering, generate compassion, abandon the four causes of suffering, and let compassion for sentient beings become increasingly stronger. Thus, when generating the mind of enlightenment that is equal for all beings: 'Once the mind of enlightenment is generated, in an instant, those miserable beings imprisoned in the prison of samsara will be called the sons of the Buddhas and will be worshiped by gods and humans in the world.' Bodhisattvas should learn to be content with little desire, guarding mindfulness and awareness like the venerable Katyayana. Thus, a person who acts in an illusory manner, without arrogance, is like a reflection in a mirror; not expecting reward, like feeding oneself with one's own hand; not expecting maturation, like an illusory person; without attachment, giving away the accumulation of body, enjoyment, and roots of virtue, like a Buddha. This needs to be given with a pure intention, not giving at an inappropriate time. In the future, without effort, spontaneously, the basis of a Bodhisattva will accomplish the deeds of a Buddha. After becoming a Buddha, having attained the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit, and with the Rupakaya for the benefit of others, in the three pure, impure, and mixed realms, benefiting beings until samsara is empty. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Seed Syllable).
