The Seventeenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. Quintessence Extraction Instructions, Fifth Level. The Seventeenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. Quintessence Extraction Instructions, Fifth Level. Quintessence Extraction Instructions, Fifth Level, concludes. The unchanging nature of bliss is the Great Seal. The form of the heroine dances in illusion. In you alone, Yogini, do I place my trust. Bestow the grace of giving the embrace of love. The debts of this life, devoid of essence, Various thoughts are seen as enemies from the depths. As a condition for practicing the sacred Dharma from the heart, I will bestow the quintessence extraction instructions. Here, there are two aspects to the quintessence extraction instructions: the history of its origin and the instructions transmitted from it. The first is that Jetsun Dorje Naljorma (Vajrayogini) initially gave it to Father Dampa Rinpoche, and by practicing it, he lived for five hundred and seventy-two years and attained accomplishment. From then on, it was gradually transmitted. However, the lineage in between has not been traced. Then, Minyak Rinchen Gyal. Then, Raston Lodro Chungme. Then, Lama Tsewangpa. He gave it to Nenyingpa Chokyi Je Gyaltsen Rinchen. He gave it to his son, Kunga Delek Rinchen Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo. He gladly gave it to me. Now, those who say that Vajrayogini directly gave it to Minyak Rinchen Gyal, etc., seem unreliable, according to my lama. The second has two parts: identifying the vessel for bestowing the instructions and the actual meaning of the precious instructions to be bestowed. The first is that those who see all of samsara as a pit of fire and realize that the happiness of Indra and Brahma is like ashes of spittle have a strong renunciation. Those who are particularly disgusted with worldly enjoyments and are eager to go to the bliss of unsurpassed liberation. Those who have abandoned life and are happy in solitude are the true vessels for bestowing this. Those who are particularly impoverished in terms of food and clothing and those who are completely afflicted by serious illness are the middling and lowest. Other than these, those who rely on quintessence extraction for a living and use begging as a means of profit. And those who aim for gain and respect and torture their bodies with asceticism.
