I pray! Please bless me to be liberated from the thought of self-grasping! Please bless me that unnecessary thoughts arise in my continuum! Please bless me to master the supreme transference of consciousness! Please bless me to flawlessly accomplish Khechara! Like this, according to the situation, recite as much as appropriate. Then, visualize three skull tripods appearing in front of yourself and the Guru. From the heart of the Guru, a Yogini holding a curved knife and a skull cup appears, and reciting "Phat!," she cuts from your brow with the curved knife in her right hand and places it on the tripod. Visualize a skull appearing, white on the outside and red on the inside, with a very large area. Reciting "Phat!," cut off your body above the waist and throw it into the skull cup. Reciting "Phat!," the nature of the five meats, five nectars, and five wisdoms manifests. Reciting "Phat!," fill the skull cup and offer it to the Guru, visualizing the Guru accepting it and being pleased. Reciting "Phat!," that Yogini dissolves into the heart of the Guru. The Guru in front immediately comes to your body, placing his feet on your two kidneys and abiding there. Visualize from just below the navel of your body, the central channel arising, white on the outside and red on the inside, as thick as a small whip. Its upper end enters the vagina of the Guru Yogini, connecting with the Guru's central channel. It is said that it is also acceptable to visualize the lower end inserted into a blue Dharma source. In the center of the moon mandala, the nature of your consciousness is visualized as a white A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) syllable, a white bindu, trembling, as if about to jump, as if about to fly. By reciting "Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱི, Devanagari: ई, Romanized Sanskrit: ī, Literal meaning: I)" or "He Ri Ga," the A syllable rises completely from the central channel and mixes with the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) syllable in the Guru's heart, visualizing the Guru's heart and your mind merging inseparably. Reciting "Ka," visualize the A syllable descending and abiding on the moon mandala like a mantra. Practice this extensively. At the end of the session, the Guru dissolves into light and descends from your central channel. The nature of consciousness dissolves into the A syllable. Visualize the Guru's body, speech, and mind and your consciousness becoming inseparable, becoming the nature of Vajra. Visualize your upper body also recovering as before, and then dedicate the merit, make aspirations, say auspicious words, etc. Secondly, applying it to activities is divided into two types: for one's own benefit and for the benefit of others. The first is when the time has definitely come

O! In other similar visualizations, during the supplication, say, "Please bless me to accomplish the supreme transference of consciousness (phowa)." Like this, after the syllable Ah goes in and out about three times, contemplate that the syllable Hūṃ in the heart of the lama is inseparable from oneself. By saying Phaṭ (藏文,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪!), contemplate that the lama Vajrayogini emerges directly like a pigeon flying out of a window, and goes wherever one desires, such as Sukhavati, and then remain in equipoise in the state of Mahamudra. The second is, from refuge and bodhicitta to the supplication, it is the same as before. Immediately after the supplication is completed, place the two feet of the lama Vajrayogini on the left and right shoulders, and abide in the manner of union from the Brahma-randhra. Then, meditate on the central channel connection, etc., as before. Other things should be done as in the case of self-benefit, or it can be done in the usual way. Furthermore, the initial introduction and proclamation of the Buddha's name, reciting blessed dharani mantras, etc., should be done in the usual way, it is said. Samaya, Guhya! A very strict seal is made that even a sample should not be shown to those who have not received the instruction. This text of transference of consciousness (phowa) was previously only oral instruction, so later when it was recorded in writing, some slightly different places appeared, but this is definitely the one that still has the lineage and visualization guidance today. When teaching this, it is the practice to give it with a strict seal, together with the Ganachakra of Vajravarahi. Volume Seventeen of the Treasury of Pith Instructions: The history and pith instructions of the transference of consciousness (phowa) transmitted from Rechen Paljor Sangpo.
