。 I take refuge in the Buddhas. I also take refuge in the Dharma and the assembly of Bodhisattvas. Thus, the vows of refuge are given three times. Then, the vows of generating the mind of enlightenment are given: Just as the Sugatas of the past generated the mind of enlightenment, and abide in the training of the Bodhisattvas in that order, so too, for the benefit of beings, I will generate the mind of enlightenment, and likewise, I will train in the training in that order. May I liberate those who are not liberated, may I free those who are not freed, may I give rest to those who are not at rest, and may I lead all sentient beings to Nirvana. Thus, the vows of generating the mind of enlightenment are taken by reciting three times. Then, the seven-limbed practice is performed: The very nature of the Three Jewels, I prostrate to the Lama Zambhala. I offer the outer, inner, and secret offerings. I confess all sins individually. I rejoice in the virtue of beings. I request the turning of the wheel of Dharma. I beseech you to remain without passing into Nirvana. I dedicate the merit to great enlightenment. Thus, it should be recited three times. With these, the preliminaries are completed. The second, the main part, has five: the five empowerments of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity. First, to request the empowerment of the body, offer a mandala as a fee and make the request: Kye! Teacher, Lord of Compassion, Zambhala, we are frightened by samsara, please hold us with compassion. In the city of beings that has become darkness, fearful and pitiable, we pray to you. The city of great bliss, Nirvana, touching the dust of your feet, please grant the empowerment. Thus, the request is made by reciting three times. Then, the master bestows the permission: The light of my sun of compassion dispels the darkness of ignorance. May your body, speech, and mind be blessed by body, speech, and mind. Thus, it is recited. Then, the students are cleansed with water from the vase. Having purified with स्वाभाव(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ།,स्वभाव,svabhāva,self-nature), generate as if Zambhala has arisen from realization, and from the seed-syllable in the heart of the Lama and the deity of the mandala, which are inseparable, light radiates. Touching all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, all become the form of Zambhala, small in body and complete with limbs, with clear and immeasurable hand gestures. Also from the body of the Lama

Since it comes from the immeasurable body of Zambhala, Meditate that this flower is non-dual with yourself, and slowly dissolves into the student's body like seawater flowing into it. Offer the flower, play incense and music, and place the deity on the student's crown. The teacher says: Please grant this (initiation) to the Blessed One, please begin this (activity). Thus, the benefits of the body's subsequent permission are twofold: temporary and ultimate. The temporary benefit is that all diseases, evil spirits, sins, and obstacles of the body are pacified. The ultimate benefit is to obtain the body of Zambhala adorned with excellent marks and signs. Thus it is said. Second, to request the subsequent permission of speech, offer a mandala as a gift and pray as before. Then, both teacher and student visualize themselves as Zambhala, and on the moon disc at their heart, visualize a yellow Dza (Tibetan: ཛཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Romanization: jaṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Dza) syllable surrounded by mantras. Then, from the teacher's mouth, a rosary of mantras like molten gold emerges and enters the student's mouth, visualizing it revolving around the Dza syllable at the heart. Recite: Om Zambhala Jalandhra Ye Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ་ཛ་ལེནྡྲ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ जम्भल जलेंद्र ये स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ jambhala jalendra ye svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Zambhala, Water-Sovereign, Ye, Svaha) twenty-one times, holding the rosary and having the student repeat after. Then, the rosary touches the student's throat, and the teacher says: Please grant this deity's mantra to the Blessed One, please begin this (activity). This has two benefits, temporary and ultimate. The temporary benefit is that the power of the mantra is great, and one becomes skilled in the three abilities of speaking, debating, and writing. The ultimate benefit is that whatever is said becomes true, and one attains the sixty qualities of the Buddha's speech. Thus it is said. Third, the subsequent permission of mind, Offer a mandala as a gift. Pray as before. Then, have the student sit in the seven-point posture of Vairochana, and visualize a golden yellow Dza syllable in the sky between the eyebrows. Then, visualize your own body dissolving into a rainbow body and merging into the Dza syllable in front, focusing on it. The Dza syllable also disappears into the sky like a rainbow, and the mind is clear and empty like a clear sky, remaining in a state free from all elaborations, this is the subsequent permission of mind. This has two benefits, temporary and ultimate. The temporary benefit is to generate special samadhi in the mindstream.
