Having descended, visualize the vase as full and perform hundreds of recitations, etc. Again, light radiates from the HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥) syllable in your heart. As before, invoke the mindstream of the deity of the action vase, etc. From the HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥) syllable in the heart of Hayagriva, emit: OM HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥) PADMANTAKRITA VAJRA KROHA HYAGRIVA HULU HULU HUM PHAT (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿཔདྨཱནྟ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་ཧ་ཧྱ་གྲཱྀ་ཝ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།). Visualize this as encircling and perform the recitation. Again, to these offer and praise. Offer the torma and make supplications. Then, visualize the deity of the action vase dissolving into light and becoming the water of the vase. Bathe with the vase water. Take the self-entry with the four stages that follow, through samadhi. Secondly, the main part has two: the preliminary of the empowerment and the actual empowerment. First, the students are bathed with the water of the action vase and seated in rows. Cast the obstacle torma and dispel the obstacles. Meditate on the protective circle. Then, offer a mandala to the lama. Giving the refuge vows to the lama: Join your palms and say, "Please repeat after me." Say: Teacher, please listen to me. Until the essence of enlightenment is reached. I take refuge in the Buddhas. I also take refuge in the Dharma and the Bodhisattvas. Give the refuge vows by reciting three times. Then, the vows of generating the mind of enlightenment: Just as the Sugatas of the past. Generated the mind of enlightenment. And in the precepts of the Bodhisattvas. They abide in them in order. Likewise, for the benefit of beings. I will generate the mind of enlightenment. Likewise, in the precepts. I will also train in them in order. Liberate those who are not liberated. Free those who are not freed. Give breath to those who have not breathed. Establish sentient beings in nirvana. Hold the vows by reciting three times. Then, perform the seven-branch practice: The essence of the Three Jewels. Lama Amitayus, I prostrate. Outer, inner, and secret offering is offered. All sins are confessed individually. I rejoice in the virtue of beings. I beseech you to turn the wheel of Dharma. I request you to remain without passing into nirvana. I dedicate the virtue to great enlightenment. Recite three times. With these, the preliminaries are completed. Secondly, the main part has five: of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity.

Of the five empowerments, the first is to offer a mandala including the four continents and Mount Meru as the fee for requesting the body empowerment, and to make a supplication: Kye! Teacher, Lord of Compassion, Amitayus! We are afraid of samsara, please hold us with compassion. In the city of beings that has become darkness, Fearing and suffering, we supplicate you. The city of great bliss, nirvana, Touching the dust of your feet, please grant empowerment. Thus, supplicate three times. Then, the teacher bestows permission: My sun of compassion, With its light dispels the darkness of ignorance. Bless your body, speech, and mind, With body, speech, and mind. Thus it is said. Then, the students are cleansed with Amrita, purified with Svabhava, and visualized as arising from the realization of Amitayus. Visualize that from the HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍) syllable in the heart of the guru and mandala, which are inseparable, light radiates, striking all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and their retinues, so that all become the form of Amitayus, small in body but with large limbs, clear hand gestures, and immeasurable. From the guru's body also emanate immeasurable bodies of Amitayus, which, like snow falling on a lake, quietly dissolve into the students' bodies, meditate on this. Or scatter flowers, or place them on the crown of the head, accompanied by the sound of incense and music. The teacher says: Bhagavan Amitayus, please grant this (to the disciple), Please guide this (disciple). Om Hrih Amitadeva Dza Hum Bam Hoh (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿཨ་མི་དེ་ཝ་ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ) Thus it is said. Thus, the benefits of the body empowerment are twofold: temporary and ultimate. Temporarily, all the key points of the body, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, and obstacles are pacified; ultimately, there is the necessity of obtaining the body of Amitayus adorned with marks and signs. Thus it is said. Second, to request the speech empowerment, offer a mandala and make a supplication as before. Then, both the teacher and the student visualize themselves as Amitayus, and on the red lotus with eight petals in the heart, there is a moon mandala, on which there is a red HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍) syllable, surrounded by the long mantra. Then, visualize that from the mouth of the guru, a string of mantras like a string of red pearls emerges, shining red, and enters the mouth of the student, focusing on the HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍) syllable rotating in the heart, the twenty-one long mantras
