The Fifteenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. The Text on the Signs and Measures of the Six-Branched Yoga. The Fifteenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. The Text on the Signs and Measures of the Six-Branched Yoga. The Text on the Signs and Measures of the Six-Branched Yoga is present. Homage to the Guru). Having touched upon the signs and measures of meditating on the profound path of Vajra Yoga, I shall explain the classifications of the signs that are obtained. These roots are also clearly stated in the Tantra commentaries. The previous lineages have accomplished all of these through experience. Even now, if the first branch is genuine and the others are in accordance, then the lineage of the arising of signs and the increase of qualities for the main experiencers will not be interrupted. Moreover, when the experiences and signs of other Tibetan Dharma practices are meditated upon now, there are various degrees of conformity or nonconformity with what is said. The reason why the signs of these Dharmas arise without error is that all the roots of the instructions are stated completely and without omission in the Tantras and the Three Sections of Mind Commentary. Therefore, these instructions are the unaltered intention of Vajradhara. Others do not have the authority of the Three Sections of Mind Commentary, and the words of the Tantras are unclear and concealed. Because they have passed through many lineages, the subtle points of the instructions have been lost. It is said. In the preliminary stage of the Three Solitudes, various uncertain experiences of seeing and experiences of the body arise. In the stages of the Three Solitudes and the Withdrawal Sequence, as appropriate, if the body posture is bent forward, the awareness will suddenly cease because the center of the heart meets with the air in front. If it is bent to the right, it will be agitated because it meets with fire. If it is bent to the left, it will be confused because it meets with water. If it is bent backward, it will feel heavy and stiff because it meets with earth. Abandoning these, straightening the spine, the channels between the heart and navel will be straightened, thereby binding the life force. By doing the vajra posture and the lower gathering well, the downward-clearing air can be lowered. By bending the neck, the upward-moving air can be raised. The abdomen should be forcefully filled, and it is also necessary to exert a little force, because this stabilizes the equal-dwelling air. The air that moves in the eyes is controlled by the gaze. By bending the neck, the teeth and lips will close naturally. The tip of the tongue should be placed against the upper palate, so that the ear

And also the pulse bends over, thereby binding the wind of the ears and tongue, through that combination and slowly exhaling from the nostrils, thereby binding the wind of the nose, placing the fists on the thighs, tightening and relaxing the body moderately, thereby binding the wind that runs in the body, adding all together, binding the pervasive wind. However, it is not possible to bind only through the body posture itself, but through the combination of body posture and focus. Having meditated in this way, if one takes the experience of the mind as the main thing, then the first stage of experience is: the mind does not stay still even for a moment, and more thoughts than before arise, being extremely scattered and agitated. Some people have one thought following another continuously, and they are all completely different kinds of thoughts. Some people only rely on one object, and only because of different changes, they repeatedly remember it. Now one might think, is it not possible to generate meditation? One might also think, it would be better to do something else. This is because in the past, when one had not meditated, although there were many thoughts, one looked outwards, so one did not recognize them. Here, because one looks inwards, one only recognizes that the changes are flowing, but not that there are more thoughts than before. In addition, at that time, most people are not skilled in the body posture, so the body is also very painful, and there will be blockage and trembling of breath. The mind will also feel irritable, wanting to go to other places, and feelings of narrowness.
