The Thirteenth Volume of the Collection of Instructions: The Quintessence of the Chö Yul Ocean, a Profound and Condensed Method for Practicing on a Single Seat. The Thirteenth Volume of the Collection of Instructions. The Quintessence of the Chö Yul Ocean, a Profound and Condensed Method for Practicing on a Single Seat. This is the Quintessence of the Chö Yul Ocean, a Profound and Condensed Method for Practicing on a Single Seat. Namo Guru. The great purity of illusion and delusion, the Dharmakaya, showing many methods of cutting, I prostrate to the feet of the supreme Lama Yumchen, and then explain the yoga of the essence. Furthermore, from "Gathering the Precious Qualities": With four causes, a Bodhisattva is skilled and powerful, difficult to defeat by the four maras and unable to be moved, abiding in emptiness and not abandoning sentient beings, acting as spoken and having the blessings of the Sugatas. Thus, putting into practice the instructions on the four special meanings is the heart essence of the Prajñāpāramitā's instructions, known as the Chö Yul that cuts the demons, like an ocean. Also, with the three views, meditations, and actions that are in accordance with the three samādhis, the qualities of the path are increased, so even in a single session of body offering, these must not be separated. The meaning of "cutting" is to clearly abandon the clinging to self and what belongs to self in one's own mindstream, and not to allow the concept of clinging to characteristics to enter into any external appearances, but to practice like an illusion. Therefore, based on this, the actual practice is divided into three: the preliminary practices that cause the blessings of the Sugatas to enter oneself; the main practice of abiding in emptiness and accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings with the power of wisdom and compassion; and the subsequent actions of acting without contradicting what has been vowed. First, there are two parts. Entering the gate of the Great Vehicle is to subdue the four thoughts that turn the mind, and to clearly establish the refuge: In the sky in front, on a lion throne, lotus, and sun cushion, Magig, the Lama, the Prajñāpāramitā, the Three Jewels, the root three, surrounded by a sea of refuge, may you look with compassion on beings pervading the sky. The refuge is: In the place of the sky, filling the sky, Lamas, yidams, assemblies of dakinis, Buddhas, Dharma, and the noble Sangha, I and all beings respectfully take refuge. Generating the mind

May all sentient beings have happiness and its causes; may all sentient beings be free of suffering and its causes; may they never be separated from bliss without suffering; may they abide in equanimity, free of attachment and aversion. To invoke blessings with devotion, first make the refuge the field of merit. My body, possessions, and the virtues of the three times, for the sake of all sentient beings, I respectfully offer to you. Those with eyes that see all, venerable and sacred objects, please regard me with love, accept and bless me. Then, the supplication is as follows: Namo Guru Homage to the Guru). Prajnaparamita, the queen of the realm of reality, the unique mother without duality, the chief of the great dakinis, to the root and lineage lamas of the profound Chöd practice, I supplicate, please grant your blessings. My body, possessions, and all things, I offer without attachment, please accept them. For the benefit of all beings, abandon self-grasping, please bless that unnecessary thoughts arise in the mind. Please bless that the realization of the unborn, single certainty of one's own mind, please bless that adverse conditions are taken as the path. Please bless that the three realms are cut off from existence, please bless that the six realms are gathered as relatives, please bless that samsara and nirvana are purified in the realm of reality, please bless that the clinging to grasping and being grasped is cut off, please bless that the state of selflessness is realized. Thus, supplicate with one-pointed devotion. The assembly dissolves into the lama, the three syllables of the three places, the rays of light enter my three places, the three doors are blessed as the three vajras, the lama dissolves into light and becomes inseparable from oneself. Secondly, the main part has three. First, like a vajra, the view is decided by samadhi, which is the blending of space and awareness: the winds are combined, and the consciousness pervading the whole body gathers together. At the soles of the two feet, it becomes a bright white drop. Through the channels of the legs, it merges into one at the central channel, emerging from the crown of the head and becoming inseparable from space. Thus, let the sky be as vast as it is, and let the wisdom be as vast as it is and abide. Identifying the meaning of the Mother: Self-awareness is free from permanence and annihilation, arising and ceasing, coming and going, not falling into any side of existence or non-existence, without the establishment of doer and deed, benefit and harm, without any identifiable characteristic, cutting off all roots, like the sky. Thus, without thinking of anything in the mind, remain in the natural state.
