At the time of entering (death), as said from the key points of the life-force wind, contemplate that all grasping and apprehending, etc., are pure. Contemplating in this way is for the purpose of the incarnate form raining down a continuous stream of Dharma unhindered in the lower chamber of Sulahari. Now, I will explain the key instruction for introducing the Sambhogakaya. Since the key points of the body and the generation of bodhicitta, etc., have already been discussed, on the top of one's head, on the center of the lotus and the sun and moon discs, contemplate the Bhagavan Avalokiteśvara with seven dharmas. The great lord with one face and four arms, his body white in color. The first two hands are folded at the heart, the lower right hand is twirling a pearl rosary, the lower left hand is holding a lotus, and his legs are in the lotus position. After contemplating clearly in this way, according to the key points of the life-force wind, inhale one breath, and contemplate that all sentient beings have become the nature of the Sambhogakaya, filling all the nostrils and pores. When exhaling, contemplate that rays of five colors radiate, transforming all beings of the six realms, including the bardo, into the nature of the Bhagavan Avalokiteśvara, and practice the visualization of gathering and scattering. Like this, in the future, one will not go anywhere, it is not fabricated, it is the spontaneously accomplished nature of reality, so here, the example is space. Because space is limitless and boundless, does not rely on anything, and is the unchanging nature of reality, it is called the Dharmakaya. Regarding this, Tilopa said, "For example, looking at the center of space, seeing ceases. Likewise, if the mind looks at the mind, the collection of thoughts will cease, and one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment." This also has this meaning. Meditate in a solitary mountain retreat, without letting the mind wander anywhere. Place an object of focus to hold onto and meditate. When awareness does not wander anywhere and abides, looking at the expanse of space, an understanding will arise that all phenomena are empty. At the time of such realization, without letting awareness wander, abiding in a clear and lucid state, an understanding will arise that all phenomena are mind itself. At that time, also leave the mind itself in a state of non-objectification. This is the key instruction for introducing the Dharmakaya.

O! This indicates the key point of the mind abiding without fabrication. In reality, the so-called "mind without fabrication" refers to Mahamudra. Because in Mahamudra, all forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile objects, dharmas, etc., exist and are not established. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "Essence is without form, and there is no seer; without sound, and there is no hearer; without smell, and there is no smeller; without taste, and there is no taster; without touch, and there is no toucher; without mind, and there is nothing arising from the mind." Likewise, it is not that it is inherently non-existent, nor is it existent, nor is it both existent and non-existent, but it is emptiness from a state free from all extremes. The Arya Samucchaya Sutra says: "Existence and non-existence, these two are not dharmas." Thus, this Mahamudra itself is completely non-existent and cannot be meditated upon, cannot be negated and cannot be established. Therefore, it is the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. Again, the Samucchaya Sutra says: "That which is not existent is called non-existent." The so-called meditation is not established, the so-called meditator is not established, the so-called deity is not established, and the mantra associated with it is not established. As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "Without meditation, there is no meditator; without a deity, there is no mantra." Therefore, these are the stages of practicing the self-arisen wisdom of the Great Seal's realization, written by Rangjung Dorje. This instruction was composed by Dharma Lord Rangjung Dorje in the fourth month of the Monkey year. Good! Sixth volume of the Treasury of Instructions, Introduction to the Three Kayas.
