From the enchanting dance of the mighty hero, appears the great deity, the hero, the protector deity (དགྲ་བླ་，dgra bla, protector deity) in various forms. To tame those to be tamed, appearing in forms according to their wishes, today, you arrive as a venerable guest to be offered to. You possess swift steps and the ability to fly, adorned with precious and splendid ornaments, equipped with golden saddles and other accoutrements. You are the great wealth-possessing lord, the protector deity (དགྲ་བླ་，dgra bla, protector deity), emanated from Machen (རྨ་རྒྱལ་，rma rgyal, a mountain god in Amdo), like countless layers of molten moon crystal. Your wondrous form radiates youthful splendor, with silk tassels on your headdress fluttering in the sky. Wearing three layers of silk short jackets, with golden new armor radiating excellent light, and striding majestically in splendid leather boots. Your left hand holds a jewel to your heart, perfectly accomplishing all desires and increasing auspiciousness. Your right hand, with thumb and forefinger pointing to the sky, manipulates a five-colored silk thread, controlling the great and small of the world, attracting essence and fortune. With tiger-skin quivers and leopard-skin sheaths, your heroic attire inspires awe, striking fear into the hearts of unruly enemies. With fierce strength, you subdue foes, and with a loving smile and beautiful face, you display the enchantment of taming all. You, like your own sons, the nine heroic protector deities (དགྲ་བླ་，dgra bla, protector deity), and the great mother, the goddess of medicine, along with their retinues. And the three hundred and sixty members of the Ma clan, along with their retinues, from the unobstructed expanse of space, along the rainbow path, each carrying immeasurable emanations. In an instant, you arrive here as guests to be offered to, dwelling in the center of a tent formed by rainbows and clouds. Offering: Oṃ (ༀ་, oṃ, 唵, body), Āḥ (ཨཱཿ, āḥ, 阿, speech), Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་, hūṃ, 吽, mind) Vajra (བཛྲ་, vajra, 金刚), Sapa (ས་ཕ་, sa pha, earth deity), Ratna (རཏྣ་, ratna, jewel), Khaṃ (ཁཾ།, khaṃ, space). The yogi, with mantras and mudras, greatly multiplies the clouds of offerings. May all the good things of samsara and nirvana appear here, may everything be perfectly complete, may all wondrous and delightful things manifest like illusions. May the wealth and glory of the treasury of space blaze, may your heart's desires be perfectly fulfilled with immeasurable and inexhaustible necessities. May all agreeable objects become supreme offerings that delight you, following in the footsteps of Samantabhadra, offering all that exists without end. Please joyfully accept and accomplish all wishes. Praise: Eho (ཨེ་ཧོ།, e ho, an invocation)! With the Bodhisattva's illusory dance, displaying excellent conduct, appearing according to the minds of those to be tamed. You are the master who displays wondrous and beautiful enchantments, the three secrets (body, speech, and mind) of the great deity hero are worthy of praise. Faith and reality are essentially the same; from one, many arise. This is a wondrous phenomenon! It is the manifestation of marvelous wisdom, pure and supreme. Like a wealth-bestowing deity who dispels poverty, a hero who vanquishes enemies, etc., appearing in various forms according to the beings to be tamed, with peaceful or wrathful countenances, expressing the truth through speech. I pay homage to your inexhaustible power, which matches the dispositions of those to be tamed. Homage to the son of the great deity, the valiant minister, and the Marig tribe and their retinues of hundreds of thousands, each with their emanated entourages, powerful messengers. I praise all as honored guests, the objects of offering. Like a pure crystal mountain, covered by a net of beautiful rainbows. The splendor of the wondrous form radiates with fresh brilliance, the magnificent silk garments are so beautiful. Possessing arrogance and great power, like the majesty of a hundred thousand meteoric iron bolts, who created this powerful force? Possessing the courage and strength to vanquish enemies, with unparalleled activity and surpassing strength. Loving and compassionate like a father to his son, like a slayer churning the brains and blood of demonic hordes. Possessing vast activities of both peaceful and wrathful means, I praise the great deity and his retinue. Confession: Due to my ignorance and laziness, I have failed to offer sacrifices on time, and have been negligent, etc. If there are any offenses or faults, I pray for forgiveness and grant the accomplishments of Brahma. Entrustment: Having offered such worship and praise, the desired outcome is: the well-being of all beings, rooted in the sacred Dharma, and the long life of the great beings who uphold the Dharma. May beings in the world obtain happiness and never decline. In particular, may this land be filled with happiness and prosperity, may the auspicious new virtues shine brightly, may the essence of the earth and sky be fully gathered, and may the auspicious glory always protect beings. Especially, may the three doors of my, the practitioner, be free from all adverse conditions and obstacles, may I have peace of mind and obtain freedom, and may I live my life in accordance with the Dharma. Farewell: Now, may the guests return to their respective abodes, may the joy of offering increase, and may great bliss be attained without defilement. May activities be successful without negligence, and when it is time to offer again, may you compassionately look upon us and come again. Dedication: By this pure virtue, may self and others, all beings, attain the state of a Bodhisattva. May the powerful activities of the white-sided deities who protect the world, never cease.
